Problems with friendship

hey guys.

Ever since my whole life... i was more of social outcast. it was hard for me and i has been trying to be freind with this person but i feel like this person does not want me to be freinds. it was hard and i kinda gave up on it. i am wondering what would jesus would said it to me.

anyway do you guys have any advice.

Sometimes the best thing to do is make a clean cut off of a friendship. God wants us to love each other but He also doesn't want us to stay in a relationship thats hurting US. So pray but also watch out for your heart. I've had to do the same thing several times, even with my own father.

That is so right on the mark Genna20. Sometimes it hurts to let go of people that you love very, very much. But for your own peace, it is best to move on. I know I have cried myself to sleep many, many times over a relationship that I couldn't bear to let go of... but couldn't bear to carry anymore, either. It's a difficult situation to be in. Especially if it's a family member and they aren't interested in REALLY hearing what is on your heart. I've learned the hard way that you can't change people or force them to want to do the right thing. So, you have to do what's best for you and your family and pray for the other person as much as you can.
