Wishing Well....

Uhm this is something I just wrote. Uhm I don't really like it, but I wanted someone else's imput... so..uhm here goes...


Grasping close my treasure
Used only for my pleasure
I ran to the wishing well
Everyone could tell
As the excitement ran through my veins
All my sweat, tears, and pain
Finally came to a crashing halt
None of this was my fault
But make it right I had to
I had no idea what to do
I came slowly to the well
I could feel my tears start to swell
With one last prayer and gasp
Letting out of my clasp
My one and only treasure
That always brought me pleasure
Down fell my hopes and dreams
Like pebbles in a steam
With a whisper and a plea
I started to flee
My wish sent heaven ward
Never knowing if I was heard
Now I spend all my time and dwell
Whilst I sit on this old wishing well

Aww thanks. I don't usually like anything I write. There was a picture to it that I took but it was to big..
