Okay, so i have a Line 6 75w Spider III amp. I'm trying to find the best praise and worship tones that i can get out of it.

any help?

Remember the amp models, too. Clean, Twang, Blues, Crunch, Metal, Insane.

thanks for the help.

it all depends on what you're playing and what you are trying to achieve... the worship leader uses a lot of Clean tones with chorus and delay... I however use a lot of gain, and delay with some modulation and filter effects.

it's all in your ears

You do realize praise and worship isn't a style of music?

thanks. I'll keep that in thought when I'm playing with tones.

I understand that. what I meant was the style of music of which most "Praise" bands model their sound after- Like the Hillsong bands and such.

Hi there. How do you like that amp. I'm looking at a 120. Reviews online seem to be mixed.

Actually, it's an amazing little amp. I play my church stuff with it when I play electric in church, and I play it in my schools Blues Band.
If i had had the extra money when i bought it, i would have gotten the 120 over the 75.
The coolest thing about them though, is that you can use the amp as a head for the Line 6 4x12, giving you a 5x12 cab, or 6x12 cab in your case.

Hillsong United electric guitar players don't really play with a pedal board but with a rack... that said, from what i have read, in smaller shows nigel will use multiple delays (two), a tube screamer, and a full drive.... i know that there are more pedals in his chain but have no idea what the specifics are.

i hope this kinda helps you out...

try googling it, you will most likely find more threads that may shed some more light on the subject.
