....and his name would be Mike. This guy is so great. He is kind, polite, very approachable and as he said in the wired meet and greet, "I work for you" and in a little softer voice...."and Third Day." He really means it. If you have an issue,a lady signed up incorrectly when I went to check in at the wired table he says "no problem" and he fixes it.(with a smile) And he runs the meet and greets beautifully. He will ask if you have talked to all of the guys, and he kind of watches the whole room while taking pictures making sure everything is running smoothly. He gave us his email address and encouraged us to email with questions or problems. The Wired fan club is his only focus and why he is there.
In contrast, my son wanted to meet Switchfoot so I bought him a Friends of the Foot Pass. He lined up at the proper place and the proper time and the first thing they did was walk a more important VIP switchfoot group in first. Then, they were behind tables with Jon Foreman at the end. He did stand up and do a picture when asked. But no individual pictures with other guys. The wired meet and greet, you can speak to one or all 4 guys have a picture made with one or all 4. Have whatever you want signed. Mike keeps it light and fun.
Here is a caution, they tell us when we get our meet and greet confirmation to make arrangements for other people you came with that are not wired members. They hold to that policy. I guess some people would see that as being hard nosed, but we are paying for this service and as such this is another way they are trying to make sure that we have a great experience.
And I promise you will!

Totally agreed. I was using this show to see if wired would be worth renewing, as my tkt and meet & greet experiences have ranged from great to mediocre. This time the meet & greet was great. It seemed the appropriate number for a more intimate feel. And Mike was absolutely wonderful. He managed to work the lines as time was running out without seeming abrasive. It was obvious his goal was to be sure that everyone got to meet all four guys, and he was very attentive. I will renew now. I have been nothing but impressed with the new wired. Of course, they had so low a bar to exceed after the music today debacle. But they seem to really take care of business!

The good news is the Wired rep is nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Might not be earth-shattering or anything, but I consider it very good news!

Especially considering the "customer service" that we repeatedly received from Music Today while THEY were handling the Wired stuff.

My wife and I just got our Wired package and are going to the Minneapolis show on Oct 10th. Will be our first concert going there as Wired members. I think its neat all the stuff you get with the Wired membership, not just the private meet and greet but the wired radio etc. We look forward to the meet and greet next month.

Mike was great!! I liked him alot! He seems to know his stuff, and is very polite as was mentioned before. Lee Broadwell, who was running the Wired Meet and Greets during the Christmas Tour was great as well. I had no problems with him either. I would be curious to know if Mike works for Band Farm, or Red Light Management, which was actually my assumption. I think Lee worked for Red Light Management. If someone knows different, I would be curious to know.
But anyway, MIKE ROCKS!!:D

Lee is still around. He was at the meet & greet in Nashville. I think their whole management team was there, in fact.

I was wondering if Lee was still around. Good to know that he is, he tried his best to kick Music Today into submission about getting those membership kits out earlier this year and was really good with people at the Wired table at the Christmas show in Fayetteville. :)

Lee is a very nice man. And he was in Atlanta as well. Maybe he will be with them as well the entire tour!

I hope this shows up. I'm new to the boards and my posts have been taking more than a day to show up if at all. By the time they do, the conversation has moved on. Anyway, I joined Wired in December mainly for the meet and greet and for the Wired Radio. I was one of the fortunate ones who got my membership package without a problem. I went to my first Meet and Greet in Raleigh last Friday. I agree Mike does a fantastic job keeping things moving and he is very nice. I got to meet all the guys and the pictures he takes for the website are awesome. One of the other perks I really enjoy is the 20% off on TD merchandise. If you go to their store and enter the wired code, you get your discount. I will definitely renew.

Just was at the San Deigo show and I have to say that Mike was outstanding. He really knows how to take care of us fans. The meet was very small and intimate. We got to talk to all the guys, get everything signed and lots of pictures. I've been to other meet & greets where you line up and walk down a table but this was not like that at all. Joining Wired was worth seeing the joy on my daughter's face as she got to meet her favorite band.

Is it a given that all wired members get to attend the meet and greet at every concert? Is there an additional charge? Does this interfere with seating arrangement with family/friends?

There is no additional fee for the meet and greets. M&G's are done after the show so unless your friends or family have also purchased memberships they have to wait outside.
I will definitely agree that Mike is awesome!

I would make sure you preregister for the show you are going to though. It just helps Mike keep the numbers straight. If you don't preregister and then show up to sign in Mike may have sold alot of memberships and then the M&G gets very crowded since he didn't know more people would be coming.
Mike is awesome!!

I agree about Third Day's meet and greet. For some reason there weren't as many people at ours, and it was after the show, instead of between shows. However, even thought I know the guys were tired, they came down the line and we were told (probably by Mike, though memory is sketchy and I didn't catch his name) that they would greet us all first to get more exposure. Also, someone was going to take my pic, but I probably took too long and whoever was doing photos (Mike?) ended up taking them, and he didn't just take a pic of me with the guys as a group, he took a photo of me talking to Mac and one of me talking to Mark. It was something I will always remember. So, if someone passes on my thanks, I would appreciate it!! :)
I was also disappointed with the Switchfoot meet/greet. I think one problem with ours was that there were all sorts of other meet/greets they were doing at the same time. There was a meet/greet before the concert I think with people who purchased a special benefit package for the Music Builds Tour. I don't know how much that cost. (I missed that whole thing, but it usually isn't cheap.) Anyway, they did have a lot of people for Switchfoot's FOTF meet/greet and since it was between sets, the time was short. I was thinking maybe if they had let people who cared to see Third Day go first? I don't know. It was really rushed. On the other hand, I went to see SF at a fair and they were having a radio station meet/greet, so I asked who it was for, and Andy got me back there because I was Friends of the Foot, so they do try.

I just attended my very first TD concert and M&G Saturday, so I can't really compare the old and new, but compared to other artist M&Gs I've been to, I can definitely say this one was AWESOME!! Easily number one! Mike is everything yall said he is! And the M&G was way cool! There were a LOT of people there, but I still got to talk to every guy for a long time (Mark twice even!) and got several pics with each...and THEN lined up for the whole group shot! So cool! I usually walk away from concerts with one M&G pic. Walked away from this one with more than 10!
A huge thanks to Mike and everyone else involved!!!! I definitely look forward to more M&Gs in the future!

I thought Mike was great also. He was funny and he understood our nervousness about meeting the guys! I think he organized the meet and greet very well. It worked like a well oiled machine! :)
Anyway, can't wait till my next opportunity to see the guys!:)
