New Elms

I've worn out my copy of The Chess Hotel and have been wanting new music from the Elms. Looks like they're putting out a new "maxi-single" (whatever that is) next week that will have a new song called "This is how the world will end" and "The shake." Very curious to hear this. The cover they are using for it looks really interesting.

I enjoyed the chess hotel as well. And was looking forward to their next cd, but they've confused me with how they're releasing their new music. At first a cd, then not, now...what's this some kind of ep? Mind you - I haven't followed them too closely...

The rock factor on the chess hotel is very high, but I've never heard a band rip off so many other bands (except maybe the band oasis) in my life. But don't get me wrong, it's still a good listen.

They put the song on their myspace and IT IS AMAZING!!!! Strange how they reinvent themselves every time they record. It's recorded very good but still sounds live. Especially the ending.
