I’ve been thinking about some hard times I’ve had in the past and this is really a reflection of those times. I thank God everyday that I am in His hands…

In You:

I close my eyes again
Striving to focus
Remembering
Who I am
In You

I am reaching
Grasping
Darkness all around
Frightened
Cold

Fear
Gripping
Tears begin to fall
Frustrated
Exasperated

Ruminating
Mind screaming
Head begins to pound
Yearning
Calling out Your name

At the point of no return
I feel Your hand
Clasping mine
Pulling me towards You
Rescuing me

Here in this place
With You
Nothing else matters
Holding on
To You

My mind
My strength
My hope
My trust
All in You

That is the problem with the world they don't know who they are in Jesus and that is often the problem with believers too- we forget who we are IN Jesus.

This is a very honest poem and not sappily religious like many others. I really like it.

Very good, I like it. This reads like thoughts I have at times...it is good to be reminded about what is REALLY important. Who we are in Christ...what we have been given...and where we are going...eternal life.
