I was hoping to meet up with some fellow Gomers and now they put another concert 3 hrs away and 2 days earlier.

It is very likely that in about ten or so hours I'll have front row seats for Des Moines. Coming up there doesn't seem to be a good bet. Hope to be able to post good pictures out here for DM and you take care of Spencer.

We're planning a toad trip to take in the Spencer show. Coming down from Minneapolis and meeting family from Nebraska. Can anyone recommend any accommodations that we seriously ought to check out or stay away from?

Not that I can recommend any hotels to stay away from but you might also want to check of the lakes area (Okaboji, Spirit Lake, etc.) for hotels. These areas are not far from Spencer and might give you some better accommidations. Not sure exactlly sure what level you are looking for.

I will talk w/ my wife and see if she has any suggestions and let you know.

Oh by the way, thanks for letting me know that someone else is coming. Ticket sales look a little slow at this time and I don't want to miss out on the front row tickets that I just received.

Also note, I grew up in Hutchinson and have a brother that lives in Burnsville.

Thanks for the tip on the lakes area. I'll look there as well. We'd really prefer to stay as close to Spencer as possible as there are two of us coming from Minnesota and four coming from Nebraska. So, if we go in pretty much any direction, we're going farther away from someone's home.

What section are you in the front row of? We have two tickets in front row of 103 and four more in Third Row of 103.
