Actually, I know the answer to both. But YES, I do like stirring things up, especially with someone as "volitile" as Genna! She's fun to pick on!
Pick on me?? You think you're picking on me by giving me chances AND reasons to discuss my favorite driver and sport on the planet???

The only ones you're punishing is the rest of the people here.

NO!!!!!!!!!! He came in FIRST. You cannot WIN BY CHEATING. NASCAR has RULES. You have to follow those rules and since Regan didn't, Regan didn't win.

I'm off tonight, smartypants. They let me do that every once in awhile. As tired as I was this morning, I had to go to the office and beg the supply nazis for the things I need to do my job. Some of which they are required by law to supply. I feel like Oliver Twist. "Please, sir, I want some more..." I stole the pens off everybody's desk while they kept me waiting. Yeah, mature, I know.

I didn't hear that, maybe its because I tend to zone them out. I'm not at all pleased with Rusty lately. -_-

I don't care what you say about Sunday's race as long as you understand that when you break the rules, you have to pay and Regan had to pay in a big way. I'm just glad for Kenny Wallace. He really deserved that top 15 finish.

I say Stewart bumped him. ESPN.com says no so I'll have to be satisfied. Smoke has lost races because of rules and it IS fair that he wins one too. Especially sweet to him that it was Talledaga.

I saw no bumping, nothing but legal blocking. Its something I see a lot on the track, especially at Dega, but you know everyone sees things differently and that is fine. I'm just glad NASCAR saw what I did. :D Plus I REALLY think he deserved that win. He's race harder this year than I've ever seen him do before. Just like that race a few back that he very nearly had, but Jimmie Johnson just barely got around him.

Which is why I keep some comments to myself. :D

I'm good. Tummy all better. Eating, even drinking coffee. Oh, and the lights went out last night and they don't own a flashlight. How on earth do you not own a flashlight????? Well, I called the power company to report the outage, told them we were on the priority list since Peter is a ventilator patient, then spent the next three hours taking care of my patient by the light of my cell phone. Sheesh. Went out today and bought a nice battery powered camp lantern. Never again.

Three hours is a long time without a light. We had two power interrruptions last weekend - 6 hours on Friday and 7 on Sunday. The electricity workers looked at so many poles to find the problem! A friend gave me a pillar candle in a glass jar, so I burned it on Friday night. Lovely strawberry smell. Nothing else was happening!

Glad you're better.

That's great to hear, D. :)

I went back to my previous college to collect my basket of belongings, came out, and Sung Min was smoking during his break. :) Min is a Korean Christian from the course I taught. He was buying a Japanese Restaurant here in Sydney while the course was on, and I used to let him go out to answer calls from his bank, solicitor, etc. Very much a solid Christian, who believes that God wants him to cook in Africa at some stage. (Min's an experienced chef, from a Christian family. He grew up involved in welfare work.)

Sooo, I got the details yesterday, and am going in for a meal. If I can do a Sunday night, he will have time to explain the meal to me. Offered me a freee meal, but I'm happy to pay. That meeting was God's provision - Min and I had discussed the idea of the class eating there, months ago. I only saw one of my students yesterday, and he was the one I wanted to see. :)

Yep. It's about 9:30pm Saturday. I'm on Morning Tea and on Communion glasses wash-up, so I'll have to take my skates tomorrow. :P

I had a REAL conversation with one of the guys at church last week - Bill, another single. We were amused when one of the Elders came over and said we must be having an interesting conversation (which we were.) We were being observed, obviously. I've threatened to either blow kisses across the church at Bill if he's there, or loft a rock in his direction.

Bill is single, but recovering from a break up of a two year relationship with a lady from the local Walk to Emmaus group. And hoping she sorts herself out. My church has many Walk to Emmaus people, involved with the walks, and they tend to leave him alone, because of his position. I give Bill a ton of cheek and listen to him empathetically, so he tells me. He'd like to do a Masters Degree in Counselling, but hasn't the academic background to write the assignments, as he's been in retail all of his working life. I teach Academic English skills and different types of essay writing, and have offered to help him. If God wants us to do something, so often He provides the people with the skills to help.

It won't be long now. The American version of Kath and Kim is on tonight, so I'll iron in front of the TV. I can't imagine an American version, as it's so Australian/suburban. :P Noice!

Then there's The Mentalist later tonight. Can't remember the Australian actor's name - Simon ? - but he's yummy.

I'm back from my high school reunion. Turns out a high school classmate is an agent at the top movie agency in Hollywood. She's responsible for bringing The Devil Wears Prada to the screen. And I just happen to be an aspiring screenwriter. Hmm.

It was a good night.

Her husband has my business card. He heard from one of my other classmates that I was a screenwriter and told me he was too. I got his e-mail address and web site. When I looked at his web site, that's when I discovered his wife was an agent. I googled her and found out the rest. So I'll definitely be keeping in touch with Jayson and Shari Smiley.

It's funny the people who God sends into our paths. On Friday, I met the one student I wanted to see from my old class, and I'm going to have a meal at Min's Japanese restaurant. If you see the post about Bill (here today), I'm the only one at my church who actually teaches the skills he needs.

Update. Old timber furniture, white tablecloth with cloth napkins, china cups, cheese and bikkies, caramel tarts and three types of slices and a cake covered with cream. A good time was had by all. :D

Coral is a wonderful lady for 89 years old.

Funny story: She brought in the washing last week, and the washing basket must have brushed against the medical alarm button around Coral's neck. It triggered the alarm on her phone, provided by Veteran Affairs (She's technically a war widow.) Coral was outside and didn't here it. She dozed off on the lounge in the back room and awoke to find an ambulance officer bending over her to see if she was okay. She was very embarassed, but at least she knows that the system works. :P

Yesterday, Maine, today Ohio. I keep wondering why Americans and British blokes want to contact me, as a date is going to work out very expensive for them! The man from Ohio has me intrigued. He wrote:

Favorite Hot Spots:
Depends on the day, time & mood!!Morton state park , the mists in the Southern Highlands.Hot chocolate at Exeter in the early mornings then bacon and eggs with someone special, Watsons &Jarvis Bay.

I've just checked to make sure there is no Exeter in Ohio. None! He's also lived in England, where there is an Exeter. My grandmother was born and grew up in Exeter, NSW, and these places are all in NSW and Sydney, so he's obviously been to Australia and loved it. Think I'll have to contact this man. :D

If I lived in Ohio, I'd like Australia, too!

I'm not obsessed with the boards, I'm not, I'm not, I'm NOT! Okay, well, maybe a little. I placed a personal ad once. Weirdos simply oozed out of the woodwork.

Yeah, they are out there. There are some decent men, too, I'm sure. I only need one. :P

A whole lot of nothing I'd say. If it does explode, you're cleaning up the mess!
