Our office will be closing at noon today, but we will be working the Friday after Christmas which pretty much rules out any traveling. We did get to spend some time with my family last Saturday. My daughter and her boyfriend are spending Christmas with us.

We've had like 18 below temps with a wind chill of 26 below!!! :eek: (darn freak out guy is actually the right color for a change) and it's snowing again today which actually is really cool because it means the temp is going up. :cool:

Elaine, I got "Daylight" by NtB for Mario last nite. It was $14 and he didn't have to, but matched the $12 internet price for Parable, then got there and there was a $10 sale sticker handy so that is what I paid. :D

We close at 3 pm and then my brother-in-law's for a laid back Xmas Eve. No gifts. Just food and fun. :P

We are also closed Thursday and Friday. ;)

Well. A successful run to the c-store and Walgreens.

My stocking: king size almond Snickers and 'new car smell' air freshener.

Angelo's: incense ("to burn the house down?" says the cashier at Walgreens). Almost made a mistake and got the perfume stuff (Giorgio, Drakkar Noir, oh, that would make him puke.)

Mario's: Gardettos garlic bagel chips

Plus less then 20 bucks to put 12 1/2 gallons of gas in the minivan. That E85 is $1.26. Sure the mileage is less but I wonder if I can put that stuff in the Dodge.

Doug was very surprised about The Eagles tickets. The Jack Johnson CD that I bought him is playing now. Bri got a guitar which is what she really wanted. She wasn't interested in the other gifts after opening the guitar. :) We'll be watching Flo The Lying Fly later. Allen got an XBox360 and Guitar Hero. It's been a great Christmas so far! Gotta started cooking now.

Sandra, my son actually asked me if it was Boxing Day. To tell you the truth now I remember it as a Canadian holiday. Only now do I know it applies to Oz. Hope I've got this right.

We've run to:

My mom and dad's - got dad a gift certificate to Applebee's for his 68th birthday and a singing card with Fonzie on front which sings the Happy Days theme.

Toys R Us - the Little Pet Shop PDA was from Target so the girl was patient and the boy purchased some mini WWE figures.

Target - "But it comes in a blister pak. There is no box. Do you even know what a blister pak is?" Well we did not exchange because the PDA was not on the shelf. Bought batteries for the race track and ink for the printer.

Credit Union - stole 3,500 Dum Dum suckers and are selling them for $.05 to make money to pay the credit card bill that came in the mail.

Next? Target for a wedding gift for tomorrow. Yada yada yada. WWE tonite. :D

the trip was great.
only the Passion play kinda made Jesus out to be kinda wimpy.

TBN owns the place, and J.O's and B.H's books were everywhere.

On Christmas Day, Sue and her partner Ken were baptised in church, and today they became members of our church, were prayed for and welcomed and a wordspoken over them. :) Sue was a prostitute from the highway and she is having an impact on other ladies there, with another lady coming to Christmas lunch at the the church, and finding out what Christianity is about. Ken wore an American Auto T-shirt for the occasion today - he usually wears a motorbike T-shirt. All good. :)
