Also looking forward to "NUMB3RS", "CSI" & new episodes of "Fear Itself."

Don't know what happened to "24." "The 4400" is waiting to get picked up by the network.

Not caring much for the new guy on the show that has replaced Dr. Payne (or was it Pain?) The new guy seems to be trying to imitate him, but it's not working! There was a certain chemistry between Melinda & Dr. Payne, he was secretly in love with her.

Bring back Dr. Payne! Since he's on sabbatical, I guess they can bring him back after his new show (Gary Unmarried) fails. Maybe I should write CBS & tell them what an awful show it is (although I've never seen it.)

So... the show's about someone who can communicate with ghost? I've never seen the show. Maybe they could come to my house and find out who's living here with us.

Yes. Melinda has a "gift" for speaking to earthbound spirits. Then she helps them settle any unfinished business so they can cross over into The Light.

It's our favorite show.

But now...Her husband was accidentally killed! :eek: It was SO sad, I was in tears!! :( I know it's just a show, but we've watched it from day one.
I cried when her best friend died in season 2. Come to think of it, this show ALWAYS makes me cry!

Back to the new storyline...Now that her husband, Jim, is dead he refuses to cross over because he wants to stay with Melinda.
Jim's spirit was hanging around when another man died & Jim's spirit went into the man's body. The man was revived but didn't remember Melinda.
Now they have become friends & "Sam" (the man whose body it is) has moved into Melinda's garage while he's recovering from his amnesia.

It's weird because she sees Jim's face & everyone else see's Sam's face. Also, no one else can see the ghosts so she looks like she's talking to herself.
Her new sidekick can HEAR the ghosts & talk to them, but he can't see them.

Last season "Sam," (the man who Melinda's dead husband's spirit went into,) after a near death experience saving Melinda from her own death, finally realized that he REALLY WAS her husband, Jim. Only problem...he still looks like Sam to everyone else, because only Melinda can see Jim's spirit.

We actually have about 6 episodes from last season to catch up on before we can watch the season opener that was on tonight! From what I understand, Sam & Melinda got married & now she's about to have a baby.
