View Full Version : Wired 2.0 - "Email address not found"?

A few of our current members are having a problem being recognized by Wired 2.0.

When you go to www.ThirdDay.com/Wired and click "Password Forgotten? Click here." to get your new password (because that is what we are asking all current members to do the first time they log into Wired 2.0), you get a message that says, "Error: The E-Mail Address was not found in our records, please try again." You try again and again, but you still get the same error message.

This is what is happening to my husband, Dan!, and to a few other members. If this is happening to you, please post it here, so I can see how many people are affected by this.

Also, if this is happening to you, please fill out the customer service contact form. I've heard that they are pretty quick in fixing problems. :)

It's happening to me.

It's happening to me.

Yes, but likely, you never put your email into your account. ;) Did you report it to Band Farm using the Contact Forum? I've done that for Dan's, but haven't heard anything yet. But then, it was Friday when I did it, and to day is only Monday.

Not yet. I will this afternoon.

Corrine - it is so nice to make "human contact" well, in that "through the Internet kinda way!!" I am new to boards and am learning my way around -so sorry I didn't see your post prior to contacting you. Anyway, as you know this is happening to me too!

I have emailed them through the "Contact Us" selection. I will hang tight and keep posted to this thread. Hopefully we will have a solution soon.

Thanks too for the info. regarding promotion help. I look forward to being a new gomer rockin' with the "seasoned" gomers to God on Oct. 3!

They got back to me today with a possible solution, but it didn't work. Here is what they suggested. Try it and see if it works for any of you.

We're very sorry you seem to be having trouble. Go ahead and try logging in at the web address below. Let us know if you have any further trouble.

I emailed the Wired 2.0 people Tuesday 8/19 and rec'd the same response you posted "...sorry, please try again..."

It didn't work and I emailed them back yesterday with that information with no response today. I also called them yesterday and have not heard back as of yet.

Yes, but likely, you never put your email into your account. ;)

If I recall correctly, in Wired 1.0, I used to log in via my username, not email. Is it possible my email was never in my account even though I rec'd an email confirmation?

I got the same email last night from Bandfarm and it didn't work for me either. I replied to them as to that fact and still have not heard anything either. I am sorry to say but I feel comforted that I am not alone with this problem!

Someone said they called them. What was the phone number you called? I can't find one on the site.

They sent me an email saying they fixed my account and what they did. When I checked it out, I found that they had been working on MY account and not my husband's. I'd like to call them and cut to the chase here, instead of emails back and forth.

If I recall correctly, in Wired 1.0, I used to log in via my username, not email. Is it possible my email was never in my account even though I rec'd an email confirmation?

No, because you would have had to get a confirmation email in order to be able to log on the very first time, so you probably had to put your email address in when you registered.

Here's the numbers I found at the Wired 2.0 site under shipping (
http://store2.bandfarm.com/third-day/shipping.php). 866 541 7348 or 858 764-4132. I called the 866# and left a message Monday with no response. I just left another one on the 858-764-4132 just in case they answered one and not the other. They're open 9a-5p pacific so maybe when they open I'll hear something.

I also sent them an email Monday and the only response I rec'd was on Tuesday the one I mentioned earlier -- try again. I emailed back saying still no luck and haven't heard anything from them.

I did get confirmation email, I just thought maybe there was something different. I'm pretty sure I always used my userID instead of email to log in.

My concert is tomorrow WOOO HOOOOOOO (pray for sunshine -- it's outdoors and there's a chance of rain, even though it will be held rain/shine). But that also means unless they overnight something, I'm out of luck.

I'm having the same problem as you guys. They got my email address to work but now I can't log in at all. It's very wierd. Hopefully they can fix the problem for us or give us a refund.

They will fix it. Give them a chance. It just opened. They are having to deal with the mess left behind by MusicToday. If they were starting with a clean slate, I'm sure they'd have us fixed up my now.

Yes, under the old Wired, we used our username and password to log on. The new system requires our email addresses to log on. And since you got your confirmation email (It had a code in it that you had to put in to complete your registration. If you hadn't gotten it, you wouldn't have been able to ever log on.) your email address is in the system. Has it changed since you originally purchased your membership? I'm sure there are people out there with this problem, because their email changed and they didn't remember to put the new on into their account. But for some of us, there is just some strange glitch that isn't letting us in.

NothingCompares, did you want a meet and greet pass for tomorrow's show? I can fix that for you. It only takes a phone call. But your shirt and the rest of your package won't be coming anytime soon. Third Day has to collect the names of those that are still missing them first.

There was a thread wherein we were collecting the names of people who hadn't gotten them yet, but I can't find it. Anyone have a link?

No, email hasn't changed and I did get my confirmation response and all at the same email address. I'm not sure if I ever logged in to Wired 1.0 using my email. I think I tried back then and it didn't work, so I'd always use my username.

I may be mistaken but I thought there was an option when I enrolled asking if I wanted email associated with the account or just use email to send confirmation. I thought that's what you mentioned earlier saying someone's email wasn't in there.
Yes, but likely, you never put your email into your account. ;)

I've probably just lost my mind again. If you see it laying around, please don't step on it. Just kindly let me know where it is this time :D I swear one of these days I will get a strong enough leash to keep it firmly in place.

I emailed you regarding the M&G. Gotta got to work now!

I have called both of the same numbers that "nothing compares" tried. You get what seems to be like a home answering machine requesting that you leave your order # and phone number. I have called both lines several times, left messages, and have heard nothing at this point.

I am still holding hope!

Praise the Lord! I finally got into Wired using my email address. I just thought I would give it a try today and low and behold, it worked. I requested a new password, they sent one, I login and am rockin' to the Chicago Music Builds show as I type! Thanks Corrine for all your help! I look forward to meeting you at the Houson show at the Meet & Greet :)

What did you have to do to get in? I've tried nearly every day since the Chicago show with no success. Mike from the Wired 2.0 booth said it might take a week or so. I'm sure they're inundated and trying to catch up. Just wondered if there was anything special you had to do or just keep waiting...Maybe God is trying to teach me patience, although I 'm quite sure I didn't request He teach me patience again

I'm in the same boat. I just tried to look up seating/prices etc for the fall tour and it said I must sign in to do so, then it says email address not found. I'm not a previous customer, I just signed up for Wired for the first time two weeks ago, when 2.0 became available. I'm afraid I might miss good seats! HELP!!!

When I sign in to WIRED, it accepts me, but all I can see is Meet & Greet Requests, Wired Radio, Road Photos, and Wired Store. There's not anywhere listed for Wired Members pre-sale tickets that I can find.

Alright! They got me squared away and I'm once again in Wired 2.0.

As part of Wired, they took some individual pics of Wired members as they were watching the concert. Anyone know where those are at?

I got tired of emailing BandFarm so many times for help and no reply back. So, yesterday I just bought a new membership and it works fine.:)

The pre-sales, when they are going on, are not actually on the Wired site itself. You have to click the pre-sale link next to the date you are interested in on the tour page. http://www.thirdday.com/touring.htm
