Don't buy into the hype, peoples.. LG sucks!
My girlfriend got an LG Shine, which came out about the same time as Windows Vista... And yet the software to link the phone to the computer isn't compatible with anything beyond XP..
And LG's response? "Sorry... We know it's a problem, but we've not done anything to fix it, and don't plan to..."
Considering the features they market on it - mp3 player, etc... It's absolutely disgraceful...
So i'm telling everyone, everywhere.. That LG sucks and you should buy other brand products...

LG can be really hit and miss. One of the first phones I had was an LG and I hated it. I couldn't hear on it and it dropped calls all the time. Now that I am with Verizon again, I have the LG ENV and wouldn't think of trading it.

I thought LG meant Life's Good?
Sorry for the mess.

My phone is an LG and I've had it for 3 years and haven't had a problem with it. Except for the fact that it's getting old, and isn't working as well as it used to.

Keep in mind that you have only a few experiences to draw upon. I have both a LG TV and DVD player at home and they are both quite good.
If you want to talk about rubbish products, let's discuss the erm, 'quality', of iPod's.

Granted... But LG could've released an update on the website, or even been prepared for the release of the phone in australia, which happened post-Vista..
But not all of my anger is about that... it's the way it was handled - "yeah, we know the problem, but we're not gonna fix it, and we won't tell you that it's a problem until after you've got the phone and taken it home"... I don't know about your system over in the US, but that constitutes a breach of duty of care to the consumer...
And Aussie - yeah, I'm not an iPod fan either! I'm happy with the 1 gig memory stick on my Sony Ericsson phone and my bluetooth headset.. no wires, seamless moving from phone call to music.. Awesome!:D

My current phone is an LG, and it's exceeded my expectations. We have a few other LG products around the house and have never had any issues.
I'll buy LG again.

I've got an LG Shine, and am in love with it. I've had it since Jan and haven't had any problems with it. But I have a Mac, so the bluetooth connection works out great. :)
*bah to you anti-iPod people. :P*

LG Shine is by ATT and they suck. I love LG phones. I have the Alltel LG Scoope and I love it. I have had worse luck with other brand phones but LG I have never had a problem with and I'd pick them over Samsung or any other phone.
