so, here in the recent months, i've been listening to DC*B, and i've begun to notice how crazy good they are.
Any one else agree?
And i totally dig the bluegrass cover of "I Saw The Light"

Seeing them in person will give you an even better appreciation for their music and Christian commitment.
I had the opportunity to see them some 4 yrs ago (my how time flies) at a Youth Specialities National Youth Workers Convention. After the initial exposure to them for the first time, I quickly added them to my playlist. Especially when in the mood for some Praise and Worship music.
Valpo : Is this your first time to a YS convention ? The time I went I had a great time and found lots of information (remember I am only a volunteer and not a "professional" minister). I'm sure people that have gone multiple times will find it less informative.

Love them. Will see them again in November, I hope. Just realized they are playing vs a Third Day date I could potentially make.

Definitely one of the most creative, innovative and skilled bands out there. Love these guys.

This will be my first time. I have been volunteering for a few years now at my home congregation, mainly in the summers. And the Youth Worker at our church has been going for I want to say ten years or more now and finds it just as if not more informative each time he attends. He's been a professional youth worker for over fifteen years now too. We have a nice group going from our college and career fellowship that we have at our church so we're all really excited.

I saw them with third day and it's most definitely recommended!!! If you have time, check out their music video. It's the most creative thing (I guess as a praise and worship band) I've ever seen...

David Crowder*Band is great.
University Baptist Church, however, is not. (UBC is the church in Waco that was founded by Crowder.)
Question for the David Crowder* Band fans....
What is up the the * in the name?
I like what I have heard played on the radio, but don't own any of the cds.

David's a little quirky/eccentric. I'm sure it makes complete sense to him. I don't know that I have ever heard the reasoning. I just know they rock, and I hate no theaters in Mem were carrying the show tonight. I will be buying the new DVD tomorrow!

DC*B rockeths.
Check out their site: www.davidcrowderband.com
Go to "dave's blog", and watch the videos of the absolutely nutty things that bWack builds. Namely, the huge-normous drum machine that he built for FamilyForce5.
Insane-ity.
