Delays on Pre-Orders through Music Today

Just got an email with my UPS tracking saying that my CD will be here tomorrow. I called Music today. They informed me that there was a problem with the t-shirts and they were shipped out late. They told me to call back tomorrow once I received my cd and shirt with my order number and they will refund the shipping cost. So if you do not get yours today from them, call them and give them your order number and they will take care of you.

That stinks... I never received any email saying it was or was not being I just got mine this morning via UPS. I hope you get your shipping fees back.

Thanks for posting. I was gonna call them tomorrow. Mine is being delivered tomorrow as well. I did order 3 stickers, too. That may be what caused the delay on that. But, I had figured I would call them about the fact that I had paid extra to have it delivered today and then the tracking showed it was going Ground rather than Express. Now, I have your call to reference as well. :)

Ditto. And I paid for the least expensive shipping option to boot. But if it's shipping from VA (I didn't notice the return address on the envelope, but most of MTs stuff seems to come from there) and I'm just down one state in NC, that's probably why it got here so soon.

I only ordered a cd a t-shirt didn't come with mine. We called them today and they said it could be like another 7-10 days!!!! :eek: You gotta be flippin kidding me! :( I am gonna cry if it's not here tomorrow. I can listen to it online tonight but tomorrow is a different story.

Yes, but ask MT about refunding a portion of your shipping. That's not right. The whole purpose you paid so much was to get it on the release day.

I also have not received my CD! It's so frustrating. I ordered a sticker along with it, so is that why there has been a delay? I'm trying to keep in perspective that I've been able to listen to it for almost 3 months now online, but it doesn't help when I'm about to go on vacation and really, really want to take it with me! And I live in Richmond, just one hour away from MT!! I am SOO thankful that 3D decided to drop them on Wired. I'm so sick of MT!

I got my cd in the mail today and I live in PA.

Also, Tracey and M. Innocent GMR, I called MT yesterday and they told me the same thing. It would take 7 to 10 days! But, today when I opened my mailbox, the cd was in there. So, hopefully for you guys, your cd's will come tommorow.

So can't rightly remember exactly how much more it was to guarantee it by the launch date.

I refuse to pay more for shipping than the CD costs, and then there is my deep-rooted disgust for all things MusicToday, so I paid regular US Mail shipping, which was still astronomical. No more purchasing from them, even if I have to forego the streaming audio. I did the lifeway preorder as well, and got a shirt and the cd for $7.99, had it in my hands release date. Now that's a sweet deal. But I gave that CD to a friend, after I read the liner notes and perused the photos. So I'm not super stressed it's not here yet.

It's cool I am not gonna stress overy 7 bucks or however much the shipping was...although we're tight on money too. I am blessed to have my cd and am happy. As for going through music today again...well yeh honestly I don't know, not the first time we had 'issues' with them. I'll just go through lifeway or whoever.

I am wishing my CD arrived. But another day and it hasn't. I see where it was shipped on Jul 25 so it must be coming. I suppose I didn't pay for express delivery. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I am so tempted to run out and buy a copy. Pre-orders are targeted for inpatient people like me who couldn't wait for months to hear the new music - so we pre-ordered. Now I am having to talk myself out of buying another copy. The struggles of being a 3D freak.

I just ordered the CD, and hated even giving them that. Paid regular shipping, and got it today. I'm not going to make a fuss. Not that any of my fussing on the wired packets helped. Still emptyhanded. And no, I never miss a chance to take a stab at Music Today Merchandise NEVER!

Got mine today. Since I've cooled down, I'm really not that bothered. It's just 2 days late and being able to listen to it for nearly 3 months online was well worth the 2 day delay!

Still waiting on my CD - looks like it isn't coming today.

I gave up waiting on my Wired package - I am one of the odd balls that joined Oct 2 and never got the package. My real concern is receiving my concert tickets which were also ordered through Music Today. I presume the Wired weirdness is totally independent of the concert tickets. :rolleyes: I would actually get upset if the concert tickets were handled the same as Wired package. Very glad to hear they are changes the Wired/package thing.
