I cannot wait for the show tonight! This is a rare occurance to have a devoutly christian band on a show like The Tonight Show! This is so awesome!

I'll be recording it to DVD tonight, assuming I don't botch up the programming (or FORGET!, that would be bad), so will be able to pull it off the disc and upload it someplace for folks who might have missed it. :)

I'll be staying up late to watch it! Doug has told me that I've mentioned more than once about 3D being on Leno tonight. :)

Hopefully the earthquake won't keep the show from going on.

*pause...heavy sigh*... yeah...
No major damage, no injuries, at least that I've read about. Just another day in the life of Californians. ;)
So I'm fairly certain the show will go on, jangled nerves and all.

AGREED! I can't wait either.
I think most bands usually play 2 songs. I wonder what other song they might play. I think it's a given that they will play "Call My Name."
I hope Leno interviews them as well. :D

This was posted in another thread:
Third Day update from LA:
As the band rehearsed this morning (about 10 minutes ago) the buildings began to shake. No, it wasn't a pack of Gomers trying to push their way through to the studio, it was an earthquake that measured 5.8.
Rehearsal stopped, the band was ushered outside, aftershocks rolled through and the band came back in and wrapped rehearsals.
What a street date!

Any truth to the rumor that the earthquake was caused by Third Day doing Otherside during soundcheck?

The show should start in about 15 minutes. I've got the DVD set to come on at 11:30 and run for a full two hours to make sure I don't have another Gavin Rossdale/Letterman incident and have the thing shut off just as the band is coming out to play. :o
Let's see, it's on CBS, right? :P ;)

Per a Twitter, spoiler....

No musical guests usually get an interview, other than the megastars, who usually act as well (I'm thinking Justin Timberlake, etc). That does not really bother me. Although I'd love to see a full sit down with all the guys, I did not expect it here.

Now I remember why I never watch Jay Leno...too many tasteless jokes.
I picture the guys backstage shaking their heads saying "I hope my kids aren't watching this!"
I do realize the show is rated TV-14. It's recording on the DVR. I'll probably just watch it tomorrow when I can fast forward to the song.
I see there's no need to sit around waiting for an interview either!

Good performance! I knew it would be.
"Call my name" allows Mac to really show how strong his voice is....God blessed him with an amazing gift. I could listen to that song all day!
Now I'm going to bed....
*kudos to the band!!!*
Hope tomorrow's "secret" show is a great one!

I really enjoyed hearing Call My Name! It would have been nice if they had been able to do more than one song. I didn't see or hear anything from Leno or his guests that I thought was funny except for the vacation bit. Congrats to the guys for a great performance!

I'm feeling kinda disappointed for all the people who had to sit through the vulgarities while waiting to see a God-glorifying band....especially families...I hope the guys washed up after they shook hands with Seth....

Well, Jay Leno just had the high light of his career, he got to meet Third Day!
They sounded and looked great. I wonder if they were nervous?
I kept switching back and forth, Jay talked to that first guy too long, he could have interviewed the band!
I was sitting there bawling, I am so happy for the guys!
Congratulations!
Yayyyyyy! Wooot woootttt GOOOOOOO Third Day!
