As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner

I'm just curious, has anyone else read this book? If so, what did you think?

Hmmm, I had to read it for class...it was actually a horrible class....but anyway. I don't really like anything of Faulkner's that I've read. Now, to be fair, since I haven't liked most of it, I haven't read much of it, so Ineed to go fill in some gaps before I make a sweeping statement. But, as for As I Lay Dying, I think he draws some interesting pictures, and does a really neat job with stream-of-consciousness writing. What did you think of it?

I liked it and I didn't. I really was unsure of what I thought. The story telling was good, but the subject and actions of the characters were a little disturbing. But I guess that is real life isn't it?
