Habitat For Humanity

I saw where Third Day supports the Habitat For Humanity, that's neat because I go over to Tutwiler, MS with my church group to feed the habitat workers.

I've been involved in a couple of habitat projects, one of which was a Women Build project, where all the construction volunteers are women. Too cool for words. You get to work side by side with the people who will wind up owning the home, and believe me, what you contribute really means something to them.

I've also done Habitat a number of times. This spring was my 6th build. It's always a rewarding experience. And not only do you get to help someone else, but you can also use the opportunity to learn some new home improvement skills :) I'm glad to see another tour supporting Habitat.
