View Full Version : Where am I? Name that city game.

This is a simple game. Post a picture of any city in the world and let your fellow boardies guess where it is. Obviously it would be not be good idea to post a picture of a very difficult city. Challenge but not too much. Clues should be given if no one is 'getting it'.

Sorry, I thought this would be easy. I guess it's hard when you don't even live in the country! I have been here many times. From now on, each picture should have one clue.

This is Australia's most famous sporting city, and features one of the best sporting gounds in the world (which seats 100 000 people). The ciy hosts the Australian Tennis Open, Cricket's Boxing Day Test Match, the AFL Grand Final, is home to the current Rugby League premiers, hosts the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, and even held the Summer Olympic Games in 1956.

That's pretty much giving it away though...

Oh can i guess is this city Auckland , New Zealand ? the skytower gave me a clue .

Well, I'm not fantastic either, but the clues are there to give you a push in the right direction. All you have to do then is use your brain and come up with a few possibilities, google image them, and see what turns up. :cool:

Post a city if you want.

I don't have a photo to post but it is close to australia too but it is south of auckland new zealand and it is near the cook strait.

Another clue it is the capital of my country .

That would be Wellington.

OK here is another city , it is not in new zealand or austraila or america for that matter it is in england and it is the city where david beckham played soccer and there are two soccer teams in this place .

Pretoria has always been the capital of South Africa in Atlas as far as I know.
