Christian Retailing has a new article about Revelation in it. Since you have to be a member to read it, I took screen caps and will post them.

Yeah, really. The buzz on this album is incredible. I really respect the band for taking extra time on this album to make it great, and also for stepping out and allowing themselves to be challenged by a new producer. All of their comments indicate that the process was painful at times, but look what it got them.

Does that mean that David is the bassist? If they did switch, would Tai be a better drummer than David would be a bassist?

Nice article! I listen to Revelation every day at work and all the songs are great! There aren't many CDs that you can say that about, so I'm anxious to see how it will do once it's officially released.

I think they should have a show down! Or since Tai's the cowboy.... a hoedown! Sorry... that was lame.
Actually I was thinkin the other night that David doesn't get enough love around here. We're always talking about how we love it when Third Day rocks out but we don't often acknowledge that "rockin out" is IMPOSSIBLE without a top notch drummer. And that's exactly what we have in David... top notch drumming.
So.... thanks for the beats Mr Carr!!!

Drummers are definitely underrated. You'll have somebody like John Bonham who will receive plaudits, but generally, they aren't quoted often in stories and they are rarely positioned at the front of the stage (Justifide being the exception).
Funny story about David that I wrote for a magazine about five years ago: When he went to an Atlanta home improvement store, the customer service clerk called the warehouse to say David Carr was ready to pick up his order. The warehouse guy came running out for an autograph, thinking it was another David Carr—the starting quarterback for the NFL's Houston Texans. "It was hilarious," says 3D's David. The other David Carr, the quarterback, is a Christian who told me he keeps one of Third Day's CDs in his car at all times. I asked 3D's Carr who would be more proficient: 3D's Carr as a QB or the Texans' Carr as a drummer? "I think he could probably pull off the drums much better than I could ever begin to play quarterback," he said. "I wouldn't even know which way to run, man." The Texans' Carr was having none of that. "I'd have to say he'd be a better QB, because I can't keep a beat to save my life."

Mac would know which way to run. (Although he doesn't know which team to root for. My Penn State Nittany Lions are going to spank his Alabama Crimson Tide in 2010 and 2011. :D )

We're going to finish in front of the Wolverines in the Big Ten. But we might not beat them when we play them. I don't think we've done that since Reagan was president.:(
