Photography Contests

Calling all photography enthusiasts for our Third Day Message Boards Photography Contests!

During this summer the Creative Arts Corner forum will be having several photography contests including:

Flowers
Landscapes
Animals
People
Inspirational
Concert

You enter your outstanding photos, and then the boardies will vote on their favorite. The winners of each photography contest will receive a prize and also be entered in a drawing for the grand prize at the conclusion of all the photography contests. The grand prize is an artwork print of your choice from my artwork here: http://www.JasonMitchener.com/artworkforsale.php and a sealed cassette of Third Day's indie album Contagious.

Photos for the first contest, Flowers, will be due between Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th. Specific rules will be posted by Wednesday, June 18th.

LOL I thought the exact same thing when I read that!... hummmmm I wonder why?

I'm not sure if I would even open the cassette !! Its too priceless :)

All I know is that it didn't have photos in it. ;)

since no one owns a tape player J-man, maybe you should give away one of your pictures autographed for a prize. :D Now that would be worth me getting my camera out. :D

My artwork is part of the prize. Ask Andi who ended up with three of my prints last year.

Duuuude!!!! I am TOTALLY in...I am not that good and I got a crappy camera...but I have nothing to loose right? :D

Yes I did! One in Aly's room, one in Julian's room and one in my room.

And I plan on winning at least one this year! I am hoping to take home the grave print! ;) If I don't win it - I will buy it...either way it will be on my wall by Christmas. :P

What if a "contestant" will be on vacation during the submission time?

Last year we had to submit by email and PM you. Is that the same this time around?

I want to do this but will be out of town with no internet access. I can have an email sent while I am away, but won't be able to PM.???

I make exceptions if the photo is in to me before the deadline.

question....can i submit more than one photo for the same contest...for instance landscape, i have 2-3 really good photos i want to submit so can i submit multiple photos for the same contest?

As Tracey said, you can only submit one photo for each contest.
