Valpo, I liked many of the candidates personalities....Hillary' s least of all....
McCain and Obama are cool chaps....funny and interesting...both with good ideas. But, that doesn't mean they can't be crooks or even sinsiter minds. I'm not saying they are....nor am I saying whom is good to be pres.
I can't wait to fire some tough questions....:P

I'd love to hear them answer some tough questions. So far both McCain and Obama have got off easy, no thanks to the media.

Speakin of getting off easy...
Is it just me, or does it seem like the media picks one or two big issues and makes a big deal about them, therefore making the candidates argue over them incessantly, thus largely ignoring other issues that are just as big and matter just as much? I dunno about other people, but I'd really like to hear about much more from each candidate than "oh, we [do/do not] need to bring the soldiers home from Iraq, we need to decrease dependence on oil, and we need to better the economy," which is all I'm hearing right now. Am I missing something?

Can the Chicago political machine be beat?
Yes I heard Dick Morris yesterday on everyone's favorite radio show.

We already live in a Socialist state....
100 yrs, NOPE...not good.
Both have stated they want transparency of Govt and less lobbying....
Two good ideas...but that still doesn't make them right for the job...or honest enough for me to vote for them. Fact, is they're BOTH CFR Globalists....and that is suspect in itself.
BTW- My CFR question on Youtube continues to get hits...near 15,000 hits and comments....
Just wait till I get to work them both over for real...

I'm not sure what you mean by setting straight.
I like McCain as a person. Don't care much for his temperament but we all have our flaws. Plus, he calls me "friend" which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. It's his policies that I don't like.

I was just saying that you will likely come in and put up a patched together youtube video of Senator McCain to show E he's dangerous. To set E straight.

Why would I do that? I already have a thread about him. If you have anything that disproves his not so straight talk then feel free to post it and set me "straight", rather than being so hostile about it. I'm open to conversation about his campaign.

I'm not hostile. Rather calm actually. But I was just saying that you would in fact come around to make a comment about how McCain does not give straight talk. That's your right. And I won't join that thread because if you think theological discussions are draining, political ones are even worse.

I didn't "come around" to make a comment about McCain's not so straight talk. I was wondering what you were talking about when referring to me, and you mentioned the only videos concerning McCain that I've posted. You brought them up on your own, which I followed with a response. Don't make me look like I was doing something I never intended to.
