I just posted #11. I've already posted #12 through 20. Come read! It may inspire you to write about your favorite Third Day show!

And I've only been to 3. :( I feel woefully inadequate right about now.
I've only been to 5 -- instead of 52 -- but I would have difficulty in ranking them. The band was great in all of them, but in terms of being memorable, I'd have to say the No. 1 concert was in Fort Myers, Florida, in 1999 -- simply because it was my second Christian concert and the band spoke to my heart in a very powerful way.
Sorry, I can't top your elephant dung story. I have a feeling nobody will experience something like that again. The days of dinky little un-air-conditioned arenas are pretty much over.

I've seen them six times and my favorite is the show Mac had his stage manager pull my family and I out of the crowd and got us seats back stage. During the break Mac brought us water. It was an awesome experience I tried to explain to my daughters who were 8 and 4 at the time how ex ordinary that was. I will never forget it and that is what makes Third Day not just an ordinary band. They are truley the best!:)
I don't think it hurt that all four family members were wearing orange Gomer shirts.:D

Yea and the fact that I was front row and the littlest daughter was flirting with Mac and I think he was losing his concentration. I have been accused of setting up the whole plan. But that's has not been proven;)

She's cute. I think Mac was powerless.

I have only seen Third Day once during the Christmas Tour. I truly believe no matter how many more times I see them [and we are gonna see them as much as we can], that will always be my favorite show.
The timing couldn't have been more perfect either. I would say it was totally God! It just so happened we were studying the birth of Jesus from our Journey Through the Bible in our home school that week. So going to the concert that Thursday evening was like icing on our cake. It set a whole mood of appreciation and thanksgiving in our lives I will never forget.
It was also very special because because we got to meet Corrine, Debbie and the guys. :D
It was totally everything I imagined and more!
Thank You Jesus!

Now that is something I had not yet had the pleasure of. That is meeting Corrine in person! After all she is Momma Gomer and has made a lot of great things possible for us Gomers. I think Third Day should take her on tour with them! And then after that I am sure she could headline all by herself.:D

I think my most memorable concert was almost a year ago to date at Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, Florida. The day did not start very memorable. Woke up to tropical storm Barry in the Gulf and the whole state blanketed in green on the radar. Tears flowed but still had to make the trip! Poured the whole way over then miraculously as we pull into the parking lot the rain stopped and didn't rain the rest of the day. It was extremely windy all day from the storm and you could barely stand up when you went next to the lake there.
The show as always was great and we were 5th row so that was super! The most memorable part of the show was when Mac's daughter, Scout, came out and played a song. He was such a proud Papa! Not such a nice moment for Scotty as he was "fired" by Mac! Click here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=8Y8HVFexnh4) for the You Tube video of this great moment!

I've only been to one concert , but I will never forget it as it was the happiest night of my life. It was their Christmas concert here and to see the guys that have been used by our Lord so much in my life in the two years I've been a fan was very emotional for me. To worship our Lord with them is also something I will never forget. It was very, very special for me. I hope to be able to see them do a regular concert sometime in the future (I can't go to the one here this summer). Even if I do see them again in the future I don't know if any concert will mean as much to me as the first one.

Thanks, Corrine, for the blessing of the delete key.
