I'm not sure about everywhere else, but here in my area, Hardcore/ Metal seems to be extrememly popular.

Hip Hop/Rap
Boy bands (fallout boy, hawk nelson type style)

Dude fallout boy, hawk nelson type stuff is called PUNK!!! Boy Bands would be NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, etc. Please use the right names!!!
