We were forced to sit through that when we saw Caspian. Someone has a cruel, cruel sense of humor to force that on innocent people's eyes.

Disney is getting desperate, that's all I can really say.

This movie will be one of the worst movies of all time.

Based on the trailer (which nobody seems to like, right down to the fact that they got the location for it wrong, see below), yeah, it could be.

* The first teaser trailer was attached The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian with immensely negative reviews.
* The teaser trailer is also available on the Apple Movie Trailers website. Alert viewers have noted that the first few seconds of the trailer feature the narrator describing his ancestors' fight alongside the Aztec warriors of Mexico while showing an aerial view of Machu Picchu, which is in Peru.

But based on the description of what the movie is about:

Beverly Hills Chihuahua is an upcoming 2008 live-action comedy film by Walt Disney Pictures directed by Raja Gosnell. The film chronicles the adventures of a pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua named Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrymore) who, while on vacation in Mexico, gets lost and must rely on her friends to help her get back home.

... it sounds more like a South of the Border version of those Homeward Bound movies, the ones with Michael J. Fox.

It may turn out to be not so bad.

But of course, all the negative publicity from the trailer will all but guarantee that people will flock to it just to see if it's as bad as the trailer made it look. GREAT marketing campaign for Disney. :P

I didn't find the trailer any worse than, say, the singing slugs in the trailer from Flushed Away, which I've not actually seen yet, but the Flushed Away trailer is in my YouTube favorites list. :)

Excellent point. It worked for Snakes on a Plane. People buzzed for months about how bad it was, then when it came out, a lot of people went to see it that might not have seen it otherwise. I didn't, so I can't offer an opinion.

Avid Disney fan that I am, they're not perfect. I thought the same thing about Underdog last year, which I haven't seen, by the way. And I can't say that I plan to.

There are some movies I flat out refuse to see because the trailers look so bad. Underdog was one of them.

Haha, I'm still mad at Disney for putting out the two best-selling (and worst) albums of the year last year (Hannah Montana and High School Musical).

They might be single-handedly destroying music. ;)

But, then again, they put out Prince Caspian too, so I'm torn.

I have to admit, I love "You Are The Music in Me" from HSM2. But thats it. Hannah Montana, while its a cute show, has awful music.

Then again look who her daddy is.

I watched the HSM2 movie and thought it was pretty bad, although the blonde-headed chick (Ashley Tisdale) is pretty nice-looking. The music, the only catchy song I can think of was "Bet On It" even tho I can't stand that Zack guy that sings it.

Hannah Montana has made me laugh a few times, and I only really watched it because I think Billy Ray is hilarious, but you're right the music sucks.

And Prince Caspian is amazing.
