"Let me ask you a question..have you ever been wrong?"-Barney

"Yes! Once!"-Hannah

LOL. Yeah, Gordon Ramsay has a mouth on him, doesn't he? Used to watch both his shows, but got tired of the constant *bleep*ing that they'd have to do over half the words he'd say.

So this thread has headed into kitty eating habits, huh? I can contribute to that a little. :)

Our guys are fairly easy to feed here, even though we do have to watch what we give them, and try to avoid anything too dark or too red, since that is murder to clean up off the carpet when they eat too fast and urp it up. Fortunately they seem to like the nice, neutral, not too dark dry Whiskas chicken flavor in the purple bag. With four cats, we usually get the real BIG bags from Petsmart.

Had an interesting turn of events with the last bag we bought. They just plain wouldn't eat it. Well, except for Ozzie, and like mom says, he'll eat DIRT if you put it in a bowl in front of him. LOL. We finally got the lot number off the bottom of the bag and called the Whiskas people to see if they'd changed their formula at all. (Although after that wheat gluten scare a few years ago, I was worried that there was actually something WRONG with it). No change to the formula (they did say that if a particular shipment was left sitting in the heat for too long, like in the back of the truck, that could have an effect on flavor, possibly), but they said to bring it back to the store for a refund or exchange, and that they'd send us a coupon for our trouble.

Boy, did they! They sent two for two free really big bags (17 pounds I think), and several of the smaller bags, as well as free treats. Nice folks there.

Replacement bag seems to be fine (even better than fine, since it was free!), everyone is eating like before.

Here's a recent kitty shot (two of our four) I just pulled off the compact flash card that I must have shot last month. That's Shelley on top, and Lucy squeezed inside. Some of the favorite toys occupy the bottom floor.

Busy day today, storm preparations in case Ike changes course. Somebody dumped a mama cat and three kittens in my yard last night, they were on my steps this morning when I came home from w**k. Mama cat is solid black, and ghostly thin. She needs some building up. One of the kittens is solid black like mama, and the other two are black with white markings. One of them has a little white spot on the end of his tail, and one has a perfect 'stache and goatee on her white face. Pics when I can get them tame enough. Not happy at all with whoever dumped them, I've always thought that the coldest depths of hell are reserved for people who abandon kittens. Grr.

Mama is wild as a March hare, but the babies tolerate being handled pretty well. And mama doesn't seem to mind. But she's so thin! It's like she's given every calorie she can get to the babies. They're fat as partridges. I'm giving her Iams kitten food, and she's eating it like she's never eaten before. I'd say the babies are about six weeks old. I plan to get her fixed as soon as she weans the babies, assuming I can catch her. I'll see if my vet will loan me a trap if she doesn't settle down. Oh, and KittyBoy is a shelter pet. People would be real interested in adopting him until they found out he was deaf. Ooh, I hate people sometimes.

Suck it dweeb. I've just been hanging around too many Brits/Aussies lately.

And thanks, I can't wait to get started. I need some serious cash for contacts, glasses, and a NEW BRA. Mine broke. :(

I always behave beautifully. :D I'm working for a janitorial agency......this means NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I is happy Genna.

I'd love to, but my straw went on strike. Brits and Aussies are nice people to hang around.

Beautifully for a Brit or Aussie, not a wacky American. :D

What do you mean by...wacky?

Your straw went on strike...never heard that one before.

Well I'll be cleaning buildings, just cleaning. Nothing special.

I was calling myself wacky, not you, so don't worry about it. Consider yourself lucky, a striking straw is not a good thing. Cleaning can be a very tedious job, that's for sure.

No got boat. Want some floaties? do they come in 'gomer' orange? my friend couldn't go to work - her boss couldn't open the store as the parking lot is under water.

What other color floaties would I have? Do be safe, stay out of the nasties. My boss just called, my little patient is out with his mom and big brother and will be back home in about an hour. So I wait.
