I wanted to share these with y'all. Denise took these shots of my dogs, and I thought they turned out great. She is considering a pet photography business, and from the looks of these pics I think she would be great at it. Keep in mind my dogs are completely ill-behaved and untrained. I'm amazed she got one decent photo out of the bunch. If you like them, please post some encouragement for Denise. Or if you have experience with the photography business or just have constructive criticism, I'm sure she'd appreciate that as well. Enjoy. Oh, Gus is the handsome white lab/shepherd mix (we rescued him just this January--he's beefed up quite a bit since we took him in) and Lily is my supermodel weimeraner you might recognize from my avatar.

They're lovely photos, all I'd have to offer is this. She centers too much. What she could do is throw the dog to the far left or right, include a little more landscape.

Another thing, I don't care for the fake 'depth of field'. Any time the depth of field tool is used on photos like this, it looks fake. They're fine without the depth of field on them anyway.

I agree with Genna on centering.

These are good quality though - and she captured them well. Cute doggies.
