Instead of making to different threads for these books I thought I'd just make one thread for them both:) Anyway, has anybody read the Narnia books? Their are 8 books in the series and I just started the other day so I'm still not finished with the first one, but I'm already about 75% done with it. It is a really interesting story.

I've also started the A Series of Unfortunate Events series by Lemony Snicket and so far I've read the first two books out of 13, so I still have a ways to go.

Anybody else read these?

I have read the Narnia series a few times. They are, in my opinion, WONDERFUL. My very favorite of all is The Magician's Nephew. You find out in that one how Narnia came to be and it is the first introduction of Aslan. It it is very beautiful how the creation of Narnia came about. :)

I'm getting ready to read that one here soon. we bought it at a bookstore yesterday, but i think we are going to take it back cuz we found a book on ebay that had all the stories in one book for only $4.00 or so, and it was brand new.

I have only read The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian so far, but when I purchased Prince Caspian, I bought a large paperback book with all 7 books. I started slipping on the book reading, so I think it may well be a good place to start. :)
