Yeah I am so impressed that in my city there is a fair trade coffee place in my city not far from starbucks and i plan to go the fair trade coffee place very soon , i am going to this christmas trees art thing tonight done by the same people who do the stations of the cross art exhibit each easter and we get a free coffee and hot chocolate the end how super and at this exhbit it goes from a theatre to the church next door with some chorle singers

Youch! I would suggest a coffee cup with two handles so you can use the combined strength of both hands. I've seen them in medical supply stores. Not cheap but IMO worth the investment, at least from a safety standpoint. Oh, and here's your fluffernutter.

Cool. I depend on my stovetop percolater for post-hurricane outages, which can last for weeks sometimes. Guess that's what gave me my utter distaste for camping out. I work hard for the privelege of living, cooking, eating, sleeping and toileting indoors.

Outdoor camping is pretty much the same, just more bugs. Went with my sis and BIL once. Once. Only thing that saved me was the percolater, which works just as well over an open fire as a gas stove.

I went to Wally World today to hit the after Christmas sales. Got a nice tea set with 8 different types of tea. Habving a cup of Ginger Ceylon now and settling in to read some Les Mis. I want to finish it by the new year so I can start in on Twilight! Very happy I was able to afford the first two books.

The blood donor needles are HUGE. The worst thing I ever felt was having a shunt in my arm when I had my kidney infection. It was plastic and every time I moved my arm, it was really painful.

My sister was not able to manage a gift at Christmas b/c of her ankle, so she brought us the neatest basket Sunday. It was big as a moses basket and full of high end grocery items (including my favorite beer!), and among them was a pound of fair trade coffee. Shall try some tomorrow and tell you all about it.

It's some sort of dark roast from Ethiopia. It's put out by a company associated with Winn-Dixie. I also got a bottle of really good olive oil, vegetable stock, ham bouillon, a summer sausage, smoked sardines, sugar free chocolates, a tube of tomato paste concentrate, cookies, a bag of red lentils and a six pack of modelo negra. Oh, and a bottle of garam masala, another of Chinese five spice powder, and a package of saffron threads. And a bottle of marinade and a bag of basmati rice that I mentioned in another thread. The coolest gift I've ever gotten.
