Yesterday at the vets when i had to take charlie for his emergency first aid one of the vets had some portable coffee cups from a cafe and i was thinking so is that what vets give cats and dogs after they wake up from ops to perk them up for their human parents , they probably have muffins too

Yeah. And its only coffee and milk I stop drinking. Milk makes me have phlem, coffee just lacks all appeal for me when I'm sick.

Milk will make your secretions thicker and harder to clear. Go for water, tea or sports drinks. And if your body doesn't want something, say, coffee, skip it. And do try Airborn (or the store brand knockoff). Really does help me get well faster. Skip the grapefruit flavor, it's nasty.

Some flavors just do not appeal to me at all. I like the irish cream, but not the amaretto. Like one brand of french vanilla, but not coffeemate's. So it's hit or miss. Usually I go for a little flavored coffee with plain creamer. But that spice sounds good. If not in coffee, it should be good in tea.

I looked it up on google and it calls for kahlua and chocolate. i wonder if you can't just make a coffee and add bailey's and choc. to it and forget the kahlua. that was one of many mudslide recipes.

I'll check recipezaar. i think google took me right to drinkmixers.com. the easy one was 1 1/2 oz. bailey's, 1/2 oz. kahlua over rocks with a choc. rim. i can't afford both alcohol, plus that much with all the meds i take would be dangerous.

The coffee is from Rwanda and proceeds go to Rwandan coffee growers and women in the country. It's a very good cause and you should check it out. It's not the most cheap coffee, but my wife ordered me some as a surprise yesterday...it was the coconut flavored medium blend and it was DELICIOUS. It's a good way to get some good coffee for a good cause :)

Fair Trade coffee and all fair trade products are very great for the community that the workers belong to and also great for us too since these people get much better work conditions and also we benefit too .
