I need glasses too. My distance vision is okay, but I need stronger magnification in the bifocal part. Rest your eyes occasionally by taking them off the computer screen and focusing on something in the distance.

This will be the first time I'm getting glasses with bifocals. I'm tired of going to the store and not being able to read the ingredient panel, etc. Plus, the fibro tends to affect the vision as well.

Sunrise service at Mobile Memorial Gardens, and regular Sunday service back at Holy Spirit. Should be plenty of coffee at most of these. Not sure bout the Catholics, never been there, but I know the priest through my hospice work.

Good coffee is definitely a point in it's favor! I pretty much have learned that it's ok for believers to do things meaningful to them. I'm heading out of here soon and to a glass of iced coffee. Still can't taste much, but once in awhile there's a faint coffee taste. Funny how I can taste the Robitussin.:eek:

Yay!This means however that when you buy Southern Butter Pecan creamer because you never tried it, you also taste that. DON'T do it! Blech, pooey, yuck! Think it MAY work in iced coffee but it will never see hot coffee again. May even try it in tea to get rid of it. :mad:

If you can't find Black Silk, what I'd recommend is to go conservative and get a small can of one of their medium roast blends. Save the experimentation for another day.

Sounds like a smart idea. I have my iced Silk currently being ruined by butter pecan creamer. I was HOPING that it'd be different cold. It isn't. Still yuck :mad: Oh, I use to drink the French roast until Black Silk came along. There's just ONE Black Silk. Nothing else has quite the same taste.

I collect mugs that hold coffee. They're really cool because you can also use them for hot cocoa for the kids (early childhood training on how to hold a coffee cup) as well as latte's and capuccino. Some people use them to eat soup out of but it is my conviction that that holds potential to compromise the whole coffee experience. Bowls are for soup.:P

I'm impressed! Everytime I try collecting coffee, I drink it! Can't seem to let it sit there in the curio.

It's kind of nice though to find it in a can or drawer in the fridge! The coffee from Nicaragua that a friend gave me isn't bad. I just don't think I'd actually buy it though.

In my building the pipes are so old that if you leave water in a glass to evaporate, there's orange residue like in the tub. I am NOT drinking water that does that.

I don't blame you a bit. I assume you use filtered water for your coffee?? Not only will your coffee taste much better, but all those mineral deposits will tear up your coffeepot.

Now that I have filters again, yesly. The filters are a mint at Walgreen's so I had to wait for a Target or Wal-Mart trip. Got the 4-pack. My coffee DOES taste different when I use them.

Sounds like a winner to me! I was able to find a box of Sleepytime at ONE store out in the burbs and it came home with me. My friend gave me vanilla carmel tea and liked that.
