Wonder if that video for "Call My Name" will make it to the 3D You Tube channel? Didn't you love Mac square dancing with Charlie Daniels? Not sure if that was Aimee he tried to drag on stage. Great to see Mac and David Nasser recognized for this wonderful CD!

It was his wife, apparently. Tai mentions it in his blog. That was sweet. Not sure if I would get on stage if I were her either, though. Easy for him, he does that every night. I'd be terrified!

I just read Tai's blog and loved this part:

"When it got to the very end of the night, when Mac was singing with Charlie Daniels, I had a very gomer response, "What is he wearing?" I thought Mac had changed into a plain white tee which would be very unlike Mac. When they zoomed in and I saw that it was a Charlie Daniels' tee, I started cracking up. Mac sounded fantastic too. He had been sick throughout the week. So, it was good to hear him singing with his whole voice.

I also noticed that Aimee wasn't having it when Mac tried to pull her up on stage. I think Mac is going to be in the dog house for a while over that one. Aimee does NOT like the spotlight."

I'm full-blooded gomer as well, cause I said the same thing. It had an eagle in the front and a flag on the back. I did not know it was a CDB tshirt until I read Tai's blog this morning. All I could think of is "Mac's been in Nashville so long he ran out of wardrobe..."

Oh man, sorry to have missed it, we do not get the gospel music channel and could not find anyone to record it. Hopefully someone will post it! Sounds like it was quite a night for several Christian artists!! I hate missing out...:(

I justed loved the fact that he had the word REDNECK on that shirt...yep...made this Southern girl proud!

And I love me some Charlie Daniels....I enjoyed that part of the show...

and I know this is about Mac but way to go TOBY!!!! I was thrilled with that choice!

We watched the awards on the GMC. Which by the way, is being aired daily. If you missed it Wednesday night, you still have a chance to watch.

Next years artist of the should be Third Day. I love that Call My Name song, but SpiritFM isn't playing it.:(
