She apparently is. It'll be a two-part episode. I'll see if I can find out some info.

"He's been working 20 years trying to sell this argument and hasn't come up with anything," Donohue said. "This won't make a dent with Christians, nor with scholars somewhat wary of the biblical account.

In other words: The book is so unscientific that not even the most atheistic historian will take it seriously. So... why should we?
Paul Verhoeven doesn't exist. I have read a lot of books, and this is the conclusion I have come to. In 24 years I have never had an encounter with him or received any convincing proof that he exists. And if he did exist, I imagine he's not all that great anyway.

"...Verhoeven, who is Catholic and holds a doctorate in mathematics and physics from the University of Leiden..."
Psalm 119
98" Your commands make me wiser than my enemies,
for they are ever with me.
99 I have more insight than all my teachers,
for I meditate on your statutes.
100 I have more understanding than the elders,
for I obey your precepts. "
1 Corinthians 3:19
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"
Job 5
12 "He thwarts the plans of the crafty,
so that their hands achieve no success.
13 He catches the wise in their craftiness,
and the schemes of the wily are swept away"
Ecclesiastes 12
12" Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them.
Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body."

I love it how whenever one theory gets debunked they inevitably have to come up with a new one. Maybe they should try sticking with the version of history which actually has hard evidence to back it up. Apparently not.
No one will take this fool seriously.
