The good news is there will be a pre-sale, the bad news is it's open to all four band's fan clubs. Brian & I will be ticket-pullin' fools on May 9th.

It seems I always have to drive 12 hours or fly if I want to see Switchfoot anymore. It's wearing. Utah fans of Switchfoot are pretty much very disappointed. By the time this tour ends, it will be close to three years since they've been to UT. I would so love to see this tour, as I love all the bands immensely. What do we have to do to get it here. Mortgage our homes? Sigh...
I would talk to a few promoters, if I thought there was a chance of getting a date. After all, last time around Third Day's concert was sold out on a Sunday.
Sorry, just venting. Breathe.... LOL

Yep they have. They went during the Offerings tour. The Offerings DVD was filmed at the Atlanta Lakewood show. On that DVD, Mark talks about the different shows he saw at Lakewood as a kid.
I usually receive an e-mail invite to pre-buy 3D tickets. Does anybody know if that will still be the case now that Wired is in the picture? Do I have to be a Wired member to have any chance at a pre-buy?

All of the spring tour dates were only offered as presales through Wired, so I would assume that the fall leg would be the same.

I'm going to Unity Fest Aug 9 so I may skip Detroit and go to Cleveland. I'm not sure yet. I'll probably try and get front row at both shows!

Andi, Lakewood Amphitheater was HiFi Buys Amphitheater. Lakewood was the name it originally had. I guess they decided to go back to it after HiFi Buys went bust.

Maybe I missed it but how do we know what day the tickets go on sale? I might need to borrow some laptops to buy all the tickets I want!;)
And can I say that I am STOKED about the tour coming to Raleigh...I was beginning to feel like a red-headed step child here in NC!

Yes, what happened??? The venue looked so cool, kind of like Cypress Gardens was last summer. Is it because of Rock The Universe the night before? It is a late night as the headliner usually doesn't go on until at least 10:00 if not later. We always stay over because it is so late.

Hello Everybody,
Has anybody been able to find any ticket prices yet?
I am just curious.
Thanks!!
I was able to find the ticket prices for at least two of the shows. I will post in case anybody is interested. The Atlanta show has been split into five different price levels. Level 1 is $131.00, level 2 is $71.00, level 3 is $51.00, level 4 is $36.00, and level 5 (lawn) is $31.00. For the Nashville show, two levels are given. Level 1 is $127.50, and level 2 is $62.50.
I found this on the Wired ticketing page.
Does anybody else think this is wayyyy high? I understand it is to see four awesome bands and Third Day does truly rock... but man, those are some high prices.

It's mad crazy expensive if you ask me. There are three shows which appear to be very affordable (Indanapolis, San Diego and OKC, maybe). I am tempted to fly to one of those. Just might be cheaper in the long run.

With it being the same promoter for the entire tour, I am thinking this is just a msitake. I am sure the tickets will all be $125 tomorrow when they go on sale.

Some of the shows did not offer the pit tickets. Like Oklahoma City, Denver and I believe all the CA shows. I guess Wired didn't get any of those.
Those price levels are listed on Ticketmaster. So we may be able to get those on regular sale.

They go on pre-sale at the Jars of Clay website tomorrow (Monday 5/12 at 10am)! ;)

I think these tickets will be the left overs from Wired and Switchfoot actually. I don't know this for a fact but just my gut feeling. Why would JOC get better seats than 3D or SF during the presale? Anyway....I'll be there just in case.
I'll be glad when this is over so I can get back to my life;) :P

I'm thinking the same thing. They're still coming from Music Today, so I can't imagine that they'd be better than what they offered to us on Friday.
But I've got their ticket window open already, just in case. With Music Today, tickets <doing my Forrest Gump impression> "are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." :P

I have mine, so I am glad it's over with for me.
Usually they have a block of tickets set aside for each sale. There may or may not be new seats available.
However earlier this evening I checked and there were still seats left in row 2 for Phoenix.

I'm done looking this morning. Looks to be the same ones that were made available to us last week. Row C or E for the $125 and row G for $60.

Join Wired!! It is not too late. The Meet and Greet passes are not up yet, at least the last time I checked, and probably won't go up until closer to the tour dates. It is worth it to join for the Wired radio and the Meet and Greet passes. I would pay more than $30 for those 2 things alone. Go ahead and join Poohlady!!:D :D Hope you have a great birthday at the show!!! What a way to celebrate.

Oh, I am NOT a happy person. Yes, I know that in the grand scheme of things this is nothing, but...
Those pit tix we got 4 rows from the stage for $65 each from MusicToday...they're not in the pit. They didn't even show the pit in the seating chart when I bought the tickets. I just checked the Ticketmaster pre-sale for the Irvine show, and they are offering $119 tix in the pit. I unknowingly bought tickets in the 2nd section of the orchestra 4 rows back from the pit. That is not acceptable. Why didn't they let us know there would be pit tickets available? And why wasn't the pit shown in the seating chart? All they showed was the orchestra section divided in 3 parts. The ticketmaster chart has a pit in front of the orchestra section.
We also got $65 tix for the San Diego show. The seating chart for that show did not show a pit. WE have front row for that show. Does that mean I really don't have front row and will find out that there is now a pit? Ack!

I checked the venue websites. Now suddenly there's a pit where there wasn't a pit. We should have known by the price, but the price was for Price Level 1, so we had no reason to suspect that we weren't getting premium tickets. It would have been different if they were offering Price Level 2 for $65. Now they are. It was so misleading. I'm in somewhat of a shock.

So when you bought your tickets for $65, the site said that those were Price Level 1, but now have since come out with the more expensive Price Level 1 seats, and have reclassed yours as Price Level 2?
There's probably nothing you can do at this point about getting closer seats (not sure what's still available for the presale for your show, assuming that you had a presale start yesterday, there might still be pit seats available, probably not front row, but probably better than what you picked up for $65.)
If it were me, I'd get the better seats if they are available, and then call your credit card company and put the charges for the cheaper seats in dispute. That essentially amounted to false advertising, and/or the old "bait and switch", and you bought them in good faith that since they said those were Tier 1, you were getting Tier 1 seats. And then they changed them to Tier 2 AFTER you bought them.
And in all honesty - and this is just because I have a very low tolerance for stuff like this (thank you, dad, for giving me your great Italian temper) - the fact that I know that 3D has two separate tentative tours lined up after the Music Builds tour, if I wasn't able to get pit seats at this point, I'd STILL put the charges in dispute and just plain opt not to go. But that's extreme, and just me, and I'm sure you probably WILL still want to go :) , but I'd be so hacked off about what they pulled that I probably wouldn't enjoy myself anyway.
Just my two cents.

Actually, that's what I'm planning on doing. I checked my receipt, and there it is in print: Price Level 1. They are now reclassed as Price Level 2. That is false advertising. I've never filed a dispute before, so I'm not sure how to go about it.

There's likely an 800 number someplace on your last credit card statement, call that number, and tell whoever answers the phone that you need to dispute a recent charge. Since it was just this week, it may not show up yet, if not, just call back in a couple of days. But if you can give them the date of the charge, and how much it was, once it has been processed, they should be able to pull it up for you.
Then just explain to the credit card person why you'd like to dispute the charges for the tickets and that you want to cancel the order. If they're anything like my credit card people, they'll be very helpful and tell you exactly what you need to do next. Most likely they'll send you forms in 7-10 days, fill them out, return them to them so they have your complaint in writing, and most importantly, they should hopefully tell you that you don't have to pay that charge on your bill when your next statement comes in. Then when they credit the charge back after talking with the schmoes at MT, the two should cancel each other out and you're done.
Can you tell I've done this before? :)
Good luck!
EDIT: Oh, and you may want to do a screen cap of the screen that now shows them as price tier 2, just in case by some quirky twist they change their ticket page again to what it was before and try to say that you've got Tier 1 tickets after all. Probably not imperative, but it couldn't hurt to keep a screencap as backup, just in case.
