Strength grows with every
trial and tribulation
but weakness makes us run
in the other direction-
Hiding from growth
shielding the root
but the wise stay put
and welcome the tide-
Asking the Lord
to come inside
saying "Just try me."

As she wallows in the pain
no glory - no gain.
Choosing to listen to lie
that sentenced mankind.
"How could it be
a human like me
could take it all on
and save humanity?"
But waiting in the wings
is the Savior Himself-
Waiting and whispering,
"Just try me

thats me to a T right now! trial after trial comes and i get stronger and stronger but i want to run from it all! and its just so human to run from pain!

I know, it's hard to realize that every single trial we go through is just part of His plan to form us into the person He wants us to be. Gives a new meaning to the phrase, "Beauty is pain." :)
