Hello! I'm new here and I am a big fan of Third Day and the Newsboys. I just want to know, are there any other Newsboys fans here?

Yes I like Newsboys too , saw them at Parachute and i adore if you can say that third day since third day's music really helps to enter God's Presenes totally great stuff. even at church when we sing third day songs it is so great to just sing and spend time with God .

Ahhh yes! I am not into their newer stuff, but oh boy am I an old school NB fan. *Not Ashamed Tour, 1994!!!* My former best friend was all huge on them, he totally loved them. We managed to get him back stage to meet them once when they were in Phoenix once. I got a hug from Peter. *giggles*

I met the Newsboys in 1995 in Edmonton, I got to go back stage to meet them. They are very nice, I also got hugs from them. I have seen them twice in concert, they were awesome. Marjan:D

That's nice that there are some gomers here that love the Newsboys. I saw them in concert at Liberty 2 months ago and I completely fell in love with them. But its hard to admit it when you were a hard core Third Day fan:o
But needless to say I am stuck in the middle of both bands.:D

Yes Pammy dearest, you've reminded me like three times. I also met Phil and got a pic with him somewhere..I'll have to find it and upload it. He was SOOO super sweet! He had to tell his security guys that he had promised me an autograph and to let me walk with him. :D

Goofy, I know what you mean. My fave band EVER is All Star United but I LOVE Third Day. Needless to say, I get stuck sometimes between the two.

Yes Genna Darling i know , it is so funny that being a third day fan too, at parachute 2007 i had a deilima beyond all i was at the joyce meyer seminar and i knew that there was an interview with third day going at the sametime and i was with a friend of my and i prayed and asked God to split me in two so i could be at the Joyce meyer seminar and go to the third day interview but God had other plans but i totally enjoyed the third day concert in the evening.

Well, to inform all of the News/Gomer hybrids out there, that the GO Live album is coming out in September and that they have a new studio album in the works since before last Christmas.

Just thought I might let you all in the know.;)

Love 'em! One of the best testimonies/invitations on Jesus is on the One Night in Philadelphia dvd. It came as a dvd two-pack with Love at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (after the awesome Thrive album was released).

Like Phil Joel.

Like Bryan Oleson and my son follows his Casting Pearls, not Vota, stuff because they are out of a neighboring state.

I live around Waynesboro, which is near Staunton, which is also 1 hour away from Lynchburg, but I'll be living in Lynchburg in a matter of days since I leave for Liberty on the 13th.

That's cool that you're only a few exits away from me on I-81. :D

Hey again! So you are my neighbor. How cool is that? I hope you have a great year at Liberty, and maybe I will see you at a concert there sometime. Hopefully they will have some good shows this Fall and Winter!! Take care and God Bless!! :D

I remember reading a little bit of that thread too.

Don't worry! I'll never insult 3D! They are my favorite band along with NB. And I pre-bought Revelation and listened to it and I love it!

So, Im probably getting my gomerdom back.

But I still love the boyz from aussie and Atlanta just the same. :)

I saw Newsboys in my northern Ontario town 11 years ago, when they were first coming out. Now they would never come here. LOL

I also saw them in June at the Big Ticket Festival, along with several other great bands. David Crowder, Aaron Shust, Mandisa, 33 Miles, Kutless, Barlow Girl, too many to list.

I have 5-6 Newsboys CDs, and really enjoy them as well (but not as much as TD). They have come a long way since the first time I saw them, and they put on a great show.

Indeed it was a great thread, possible the most epic in the shortest amount of time here.....I started it to prove a point and to have some fun.

Funny thing was I respected the Mods for leaving it up there , and even though it lived about 5 different lives it was really only contentious in it's first life, and at the end, it really was a quite a good, civil, Newsboys thread, so why it was canned I have no I idea, I haven't been on this site in quite some time.

Unless it was "lost" in a site crash or whatever.

Newsboooooooooooooooooooo oooooooys!!!!!

I love the Newsboys. Definitely one of my favorite groups.

I don't understand why people have to qualify that by saying that they love 3D too. Of course you love 3D or you wouldn't be here. I'm pretty sure 3D doesn't mind if they aren't the only group you love. ;)

I've been a fan of the Newsboys since 1997, when I 1st heard thier song 'Breathe'. I got to see the boys live back in 99, I was right up front for the concert & got some amazing pic's.

I haven't heard any of thier new music, with Tait. But I'll still support to band.
