What size strings should i put on my strat?
just for standard tuning..
I'm thinking 10's, but what does everyone else think?

it all depends on you.... I personally use a hybrid set of 10/11 but that works for me. I know guys who use 9/10's... Best way to go is try a bunch of sets till you find a gauge and brand you like... I used to use Ernies super slinky's Religously, then went to dean markley blue steel. Then it was GHS boomers in 10 guage, but it wasn't until I started using a custom 10/11 set of the DR strings till i found 'it'

i've been thinking about straight 10's.
but i might end up using a hyprid of 9/10's.
but my issue is snapping strings.
which makes me wanna do a straight 10 set.

I had the same problem with the Ernie superslinkies.... I don't pick hard but I kept snapping them... I use straight 10's when I'm in a bind, but I find that the 10/11 hybrids, gave me the best balance of Highs and lows

I use a Stratocaster (obviously, haha), I usually like the super slinkeys. Like
