View Full Version : Weighing out my Primary Vote...

So the NC primary is coming up soon. This will be my first time voting in NC, and because I am registered with no party afiliation, I can vote in either the Republican, or Democratic primary (one not both). So with the republican nomination all stitched together for November, I am considering voting in the Democratic primary.

So here are my thoughts... as this would be the first time I engaged in a democratic primary vote. I by far prefer Obama over Clinton. Both argue that America is currently broke, while I normally don't like that message, Obama's message is one of hope, and of a future.

So I could easily vote for Obama, because I really don't want Hillary on the Ballot in Nov.

However it is increasingly looking like Hillary is done. After PA if there isn't a rout here in NC for her the nomination is over, and Obama will be the Democratic nominee come November. So I could be a spoiler vote, in an attempt to drag the nomination out a little further, helping my preferred candidate John McCain become President...

I don't know what I should do... any suggestions?

who did you end up voting for? If I can ask that, of course. I didn't see this until a day or two ago.
