I only heard this song for the 1st time today.
I know you guys have been hearing it at the shows....I haven't tuned into the Wired Radio for a little while. Look at what I have been missing!!:eek:

I immediately loved this song. I am now listening to it for the 4th time and I cant get enough! Even little Caleb comes running to sing along...the chorus and end bits...nananana....

Maybe there is another thread somewhere about this song....but I figured I had to make one and say....

The music has so many levels.
The ending where the instruments drop out....and Mac's voice....
I have said it once....I am going to have to say it again!

Joan........get yourself over to Wired and listen to some of the newer shows. You'll hear Revelation and (my fave) The Otherside. This album really is going to be fab.

I was ready to drive 8 hours to the Athens show when I was on vacation just to hear The Other Side live again. It's THAT great of a song. It's the tambourine thing. I'm even calling this "The Tambourine Song". I hope they continue the tradition of picking someone to play along on the song during the show.

Ems, I will get over to the Wired site. Elijah and John have had movies playing a lot and the computer is right near by...so I have been considerate. I think its time for Mama to listen to Third Day. I tell you, Revenge of the Sith is a good movie but after 2-3 times a day every day.....I am Star Wars out... :P

Revelation is definitely competing for my all time favorite 3D song..it was amazing to hear it live in decatur, alabama...i really needed to hear a song with that message. and call my name don't even get me started, it's amazing to say the least. i can't wait to hear the rest of the cd.

Oh My Gosh!!! I just heard "Call my Name" today! I had "Wherever you are" in the CD player 'cause I didn't like what was on the radio, and when I switched back to the radio, I thought I heard Mac. So, I turned it up and instantly recognized that it must be their new single. I only caught the tail end, but I loved what I heard. Can't wait to hear it again and again! Really can't wait for July 29! That seems so far away yet! Congrats to Third Day on another job VERY well done. It's gonna be an awsome album, "I Can Feel It"! :D Love the new look on this site too!

Maybe I am really thick and dense...well I know I am;) , but double so here...

It is said that some became sad when they hear Brad singing on the song...which I totally get, ok, because I feel the same knowing Brad played etc and helped create the songs. But how do ya discern its his voice and not someone else's?
It might be because I haven't been to many shows, so I dont 'know' Brad's singing voice. I know his speaking voice.

Or is it that you know he is singing and his voice is chorusing in with the others, that it is simply there, is what y'all are speaking about?

I bought the single from Amazon the other day. It ROCKS! Love it! Making it my ring tone...;)
