I am 20 and feel 35.

Husband is 47 but feels and acts 37 lol

Maybe that's why we go together so well.

I'm 50 and feel every minute of it. "50 is the new 30" is a stinkin' bald-faced lie.

I feel like a teenager a lot of the time - well - teen, but more grounded. And not quite so hormonal.

:D

I just turned 34.

When I was going through my divorce, I set myself some guidelines. One of them was age, somewhere between 38-48(ex-wife 4 yrs younger). Wanted to make sure she would be "mature". There were other things too. Then came-along Michelle. She wasn't what I expected, she was much more. Been happily married since 29 Sept 06, and have a 7 mo. old baby girl. May God continue to bless our marriages.;)

Awww thanks for sharing. AMEN...grant it we've had our ups and downs...but way more ups than the downs. If we didn't have downs I'd be worried lol. I never expected to be with someone with such an age difference...as you said about your wife...Mike is more than I ever could ask for. Sept 5th is my parents anniversary! But ummm yeh they've been together a while lol.

Since Tracey's been posting in here, I thought I would, too. Although I used to post in this forum a lot, so I don't guess I need Tracey as an excuse. :D

I don't feel my age, at all. Four is about how old I feel a lot of the time. Only a little calmer. :D Now, physically I don't feel that young at all. But I'm only 19, so I don't feel that old. ;)

I actually feel like I've gotten younger the older I get....if that makes any sense to anyone. But I swear I felt like I was about 80 at the age of four. It was terrible. I was an odd child.

1. Take responsibility for your own actions :P

2. You feel 4 a lot of the time...that explains why you do the things you do. :P

3. Odd child...nothing has really changed has it. ;)

2. Yes, that is one explanation.

I guess the best way to explain it is that I feel like I have the soul of a 4-year-old. As opposed to the old woman's soul I feel like I used to have. I like it this way much better. :)

I act my age. Or older, actually. But I don't feel that old on the inside, and that's the part that counts. To me anyway. The only reason I ever say that I feel old is because I look at how old I actually am, and then compare it to how old I feel and it doesn't match up.

My husband and I are almost ten years apart Sometimes it feels like a huge gap, (when it comes to emotional maturity) but usually I don't even think about it. As for feeling my age-I'm 40, not at all! I love being this age. I think I had more trouble coping with life in my 20's then I do now.

41.........Amen to that! When did bounce change to thud?? Other than the prevalent back stuff alot of my friends here share with me I feel pretty good/young most of the time. Until the "gallopin' gout" sneaks up on me. I work around teens all the time, so that helps too. **sometimes** Oh, almost forgot about the creaky knees. Can't forget them , now can I?

And I'm in better shape now than I was at 18. I'm stronger (can bench and lift more weight), I'm at least as fast (at sprinting), and have more endurance because I'm actually doing cardiovascular workouts. If I was pitted against my 18 year-old self right now in volleyball, hiking or swimming I would kick that punks butt. Now as far as being sore afterward... I would have to admit that he would be laughing at me the next day.

I'm 6'3 with a very light bone frame (wrist circumference is 6"). My current weight is 160 pounds.

My ideal weight with this bone mass is:
158 lbs - 172 lbs

The heaviest I've ever been is 172. The lightest I've been as an adult was 142 (I was very sick with pneumonia and hospitalized for over 9 days).

A lot of how you feel has to do with lifestyle choices, rather than aging. Just ask this woman:

I'm 52, but most people think I'm in my early 30's. I look young, but my body does tell me it isn't as young as it used to be. I certainly don't feel old very often, I just don't feel as young any more.

Don't let your body smart talk you! Work out, eat right, and don't stop doing things. What I mean by that is this: If you water skied in your 20's, keep water skiing in your 50's, 60's, and beyond. Rare is the day that a person is active and then the next day they can't be active anymore. What usually happens is people slide into inactivity and find themselves unable to do things because they quit doing them years ago.

My advice: Try sprinting somewhere every day far enough to feel quite winded. This sound's childish, but it is a great way to stay fit. I once knew a man in his late 60's who could out-sprint almost any high school boy because he practiced this discipline. He was from Perth, Australia. He said that every day he tried to sprint at least 100 meters, going full speed. He is in his 70's now and still sprints faster than most teenage boys.

I am 46 and when I'm with my grandbabies (3-1/2 and almost 20 months) I feel like I'm in my teens or younger ('til the ol' back goes out - I have two degenerative discs in my back). When I'm at work I feel like anywhere between teen and 80-something, depending on whom I'm dealing with, and when I'm at home, I feel my age. When I get out of bed in the mornings I feel REALLY old!
