Ok, I absolutely love how Yellowcard incorporates a cello into rock music, and that inspired a thought in me.

Do any of you know any other bands who incorporate orchestral string instruments into rock musioc? Christian or secular, no discrimination.

Cal...check out Apocalyptica. They're from Finland I think...pure rock music. Just a couple of guys with cellos and a drummer. It is amazing.

PS: Glad to see you around

Skillet has cello on Rebirthing and higher strings on Comatose. They also have some on Collide and probably some other songs that I'm not thinking of right now.

Oh, Evanescence does too. I'm not sure if I spelled that right though. :P

I'm listening to "Looking for Angels" right now and it has some strings on part of it. They actually incorporate strings very well on the whole Comatose album.
