One can compare Obama's former Reverend Wright to (not McCain's) Pastor Parsley. I don't think this makes any sense. Reverend Wright was listed as Obama's spiritual adviser a few days ago and seems to have been ditched because it was politically expedient. Pastor Parsley simply introduced McCain at an Ohio rally.
Well, Islam is certainly not "pro-Christ" and considers him only a minor prophet.....and one has to ask what voices Mohammed was hearing during his "revelations".......

We make lots of remarks here about TV preachers, and most f them are well-meaning people who have messed-up doctrine. I'm not minimizing the importance of that, but Rod Parsely is a whole different level. There's something about him that really bothers my spirit. I can't explain it, but I want to completely distance myself from this man. I hope McCain does the same.

The guy just flat-out scares me. I also think he's very concerned with $$$. JMO

I guess I better never publicly state that Parsley was impressed with my testimony.
Oops. I guess I just did.

But are you impressed with him? And if so, what about him impresses you?

When you just look at Rod Parsley the guy on TV, I tend to agree with James... But when you listen to some of him in person, talking about stuff that doesn't panders to the TBN crowd, He is actually quite knowledgeable of the word of God. And unlike most WOF types, Parsley walks out what he believes, and has those beliefs challenged daily by the condition of his kid.
His beliefs stand out to me, as conviction to him.

Well, like I said, it's not so much what he says or even how he says it. There's just some undefinable something about him that resonates with me as being not right.

There's just some undefinable something about him that resonates with me as being not right. And y'all have helped me investigate closely individuals in the "Christian" community. From Focus on the Family to TBN. There are some on TBN that rub me the wrong way down in my spirit too.
