My arms around your waist
Face to face
Eye to eye
Gazing intently
Lovingly
Peering into your soul
Softly speaking
Whispering in your ear
A gentle kiss
Pure feelings
True love
Alas
Not to be
Unrequited
Simply a pipe dream

Sigh...

Honey, you're life is only just beginning!

Honey, you're life is only just beginning!

Exactly, which is why I said "thus far." :)

It is true, though. I've never even been on a date (and I don't know whether to be proud or disappointed ;) )

I would venture to suggest that the title is redundant, and true love can never be requited: if there is a requisite response, it is something less than love and retains some selfishness. Reciprocation of love is possible, but not requisition.

That observation aside, nice poem. :)
