How long must this heart suffer?

I've been seeking
Earnestly
Honestly
Truly
Have I missed the mark?

Distraction
Frustration
Impatience
Have I operated too much in these?

Am I not prepared?
Open to hear?
Available for use?
Held back?

Held back!
By me?
By her?
By You?

Let the footprints be only Yours
Make the scars a testament
May the indentations be a receptacle
Of Your glory

I desire
You
Hope is not lost
The fight continues
