It is easy to say what ever you want about someone without taking into account the feelings of that individual. We are on the outside asking why, he is in the midst of all of this trying to make it work. I am thankful that Tai is able to express his feelings about everything that is going on right now. I respect him for that. In my opinion that makes him a stronger man. I hope that the band doesn't view us as only consumers...

There were some comments on Mark's blog that I saw that were purporting to be from someone in the know about exactly what happened, and they were rather negative. Won't post them here, don't want to be spreading what someone else claims that they know, but without providing any info to back up their claim.

Maybe that's part of what he's talking about.

And there HAS been a lot of speculation here on the boards about the specifics of why Brad left. But when a bomb like that gets dropped, with no explanation as to why, there's gonna be speculation up the wahzoo, but that's just human nature, IMHO, to try to figure out what the scoop is when something like this happens.

I personally have a few theories that I've only shared off board with one other person (great, now I'm humming U2's The Fly because "a secret is something you tell another person..." ;) ), but something Tai said in his blog post made me sit up and take notice as well. I'm sure Everything I Know Is Wrong (MAN, but I have to get U2 out of my CD player for a while! LOL) so I'm keeping my thoughts to myself.

Hoping that at some point the band will be able to share with us why Brad left, if for no other reason than to put rumors to rest, but if not, it IS their business, not ours.

I didn't know about the blog. I definitely don't agree with what that person did. As far as the boards, though...well, it could be A LOT worse. Trust me, at other places, especially for a secular band, there would have been an E! True Hollywood Story type investigation going on.

Tai, i'm continuing to pray for you, the band and your families. i can only imagine how hard this Brad thing has been, and i want to apologize for any negative comments you have read here on the boards. i hope this thread will reach out to you and let you know that there are people on here that love and support you guys and the last thing we want to do is fill the boards with negative comments. so Tai, i just want to let you know that you, Mac, Mark, David, Scotty and Brad's families are all in mine and my families prayers. Hi tai i would like to apologize too, since some fans don't realize that brad leaving is not the end of third day and that it was in God's timing for brad to go and follow the dreams that God has placed in his heart . so glad that you and mac and dave and mark will still be friends with brad will keep praying for you all.

I thought I found it under a certain category listing like MUSIC or TRAVEL or SPORTS. But now I can't find the category listing or archives except the posts that are on the main page. Any help?

I can definitely see why Tai is upset. So many people have been acting like it is their "right" to know what happened with Brad because they are gomers when it is no more our right no know what happened than it is our right to know everything that goes on in one of our friends marriage. Another thing that has aggravated me is that 20% of the band can leave, but almost everybody assumes the best, and says that Third Day will stay together for years to come. But on the other hand almost everybody assumes the worst about Brad leaving and thinks their had to have been some huge fight, when Third Day said nothing that should lead us to believe that.
