What mac do I want?

The Mac line up...
The Desktops
The Mac Mini is a real computer. Basicly when you buy the Mini, you buy just the mini. It doesn't come standard with a keyboard, mouse, etc. It is the entry model, really designed to lure PC users who already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to make the switch.

The iMac is a more comprehensive all in one machine. You get the monitor, keyboard and mouse.

The Mac Pro, is the more expensive Tower, that comes with the Tower, Keyboard and mouse. It is more designed towards audio/video/photo professionals who need serious equipment.

The Laptops
The Mac Book, Entry level laptop, geared more towards comsumers
The Mac Book Pro, more of a performance machine
The Mac book Air Awesome ultra portable laptop...

So my recomendation... buy what you need...

And go to the Apple Store.. they offer great mini workshops that will help aquatint you with OSX

I hope one day to own a computer(instead of doing this on a cell phone) and i like the mac book. the best place is the apple store for answers to your needs. outstanding customer service there. happy shopping!
