She was talking about the ridiculousness of govt regulation, and pointed out that a ham sandwich with one slice of bread is regulated by the USDA, but a ham sandwich with two slices of bread is regulated by the FDA.

I was watching GMA the other day, and they compared Tap Water which is regulated by the EPA to Bottled Water that is regulated by the FDA. They said that the EPA's requirements were more stringent than the FDA Requirements, and I had a similar thought... Why do we have two different Federal Departments establishing standards for water?? That has to be a huge waste of money.

Her face scares me. Seriously, sometimes if I just glance at the TV I jump whenever I see her. :eek:

I mean really, she can't be wrong on EVERYTHING...just most things. ;)

But back to the original subject, I agree. There are reasons why I'm not very much in support of having the federal government regulate so much.
