If you could get your hands on the Offerings I music book you'd be in business. When I was first learning, I was able to get most of those songs down in short order...at least the simple strumming.
Check out Tom's site also http://www.guitar-dude.com

Congrats!!! I'm a regular Third Day one girl cover band. I play alot of their songs. None are super easy as they write in an odd key. If you need help transposing into a different key let me know!

^ no they don't!
Try "Sky Falls Down" - It's just A, D and E- NOTHING MORE
If you have the song it would be useful.
"Praise Song" - one of Third Day's oldest songs is A, D, E, G - I'll send you that one via PM
Look at my attatchment for Sky Falls Down

Congratulations man!!! It's awesome when you learn your first song aint it!
You could try playing the verses to I've Always Loved You. Their pretty easy. Its just C,G, and F. You could try to find a youtube video or something that has a pretty good view of Mac playing it, because they dont do "full chord changes" (I didnt know how to word it) and its a lot easier if you play it the way they do it.
Like sandyandporter said none of their songs are real easy to play so I cant think of any more simple songs at the moment, but if I do later I'll let you know.

Im dont remember what the verses are for Consuming Fire, but I know it has Bm in it, so it can be pretty tough to play. but the chorus just goes like this
Em, C, G, D, Em, C, A....than you just repeat it.

I don't know whether he's asking what C and F are on the fret board
If you can read Tab - then here they are:
Here's C:
E:0
B:1
G:0
D:2
A:3
E:3
And F:
E:1
B:1
G:2
D:3
A:3
E: (Mute)
If you don't know what tabs are here's what it is:
E: THIS IS THE TOP E and the number is what fret you put your finger on
B: THIS IS THE B STRING and the number is what fret you put your finger on
G: THIS IS THE G STRING and the number is what fret you put your finger on
D: THIS IS THE D STRING and the number is what fret you put your finger on
A: THIS IS THE B STRING and the number is what fret you put your finger on
E: THIS IS THE LOW E and the number is what fret you put your finger on

My brother plays "All the Heavens" a lot, and considering his level of skill, it can't be too hard. :P I'll have to ask him what the chords are.

Take a look at "Show Me Your Glory" G B D A. It's even simpler if you know/use power chords.

You learned your 1st song eh, that's great. Consuming Fire is a tough song; not 'cause of the chords...but the tempo its played @. its a 3/4 song...
Praise Song is a easier song to play, its in 4/4. The the chords are - A, E, D
