I like that too....like it's spreading the Good News!

Nice one Jason.

But I have to say....when I first saw this, my impulse thought was I, Robot. :o

Hey, cool, I never thought of that. I didn't do it on purpose. Each sphere is reflective (yes all the hundreds of them) so the ones next to the gold one are reflecting it. There's probably a devotional in that. Hmmmm.

Cool. Techies will like it then.

Love It!

Thanks.

I went through a sphere phase a few years ago, akin to some artists' "blue period." In my medium of artwork, sphere artwork is considered where most beginners start. In fact, they talk about SOW (sphere over water) pictures in a derogatory sense because they are relatively easy to do. I hadn't done any sphere artwork lately for this reason. But I must realize that some people, like you, enjoy my sphere artwork.

Oh, I love it! :D It's simple, yet it says so much. This definately moves to 2nd place as my favorite peice of your art! (#1 is rose waters)

I think I have a little different perspective on art than some. There are several purposes to art -- one, of course, is to communicate.

Good art does not have to be complicated. I think that is a mistake that a lot of artists and musicians make as they are wondering why the masses don't relate to some of their more complex works any better than their simpler offerings.

This happens with music and other forms of art as well, apparently.

I have a different philosophy.. if it speaks to me, and I enjoy it, then to me it's pretty good. LOL
Whether or not something is easy or difficult is less important than what it accomplishes.

I like it.

I love this piece, too, Jason, and am praying for your show to bless you financially while it blesses all that come to it.

When you say there might be a devotional concerning the gold reflection, I don't exactly know what that "reflection" scripture might be (reference to city on a hill comes to mind, but that might not exactly fit), but when we, as Christians, don't conform to the world and strive to be like Christ, then we ARE a reflection of His love... and in your piece, it's cool to see that when we have Christ in us, others are affected by His light and it begins to spread throughout. You, my friend, are a joy and a blessing and yesly a bright light that others can't help absorb some of. :D

I just sold a print yesterday, so that has brought renewed hope that things are looking up for me. A few more commissions and sales on my end and I'll be able to buy some things from you! I'm trying to fill my home with art created by my friends and Christian artists first of all. It's slow to happen... one piece at a time, but I am blessed to be a part of a great community/family of artists that will take payment plans ;) :D !
