Who do you think will be the 2008 Democratic Nominee?

I think it will be Hilary. Not that I think she would be the best choice, and it is not as if I get to vote for her, or anyone else, in the US primaries/elections.

I think Hillary will do it. It will be refreshing to see such an articulate person in the White House again.

The only reason Obama's a factor is because he's articulate. His campaign truly is a "fairy tale" consisting of lots of ideas but no proof that he could actually make them a reality. Say what you want about Hillary, but she's actually backed up her ideas with action. People are being seduced by Obama's charm and the excitement in his speeches. All flash and no substance. John Edwards is the least of the evils.

John Edwards? He's worse than both of them. Guy doesn't even know what America he is living in. I actually like Barack, I've read his book, I've listened to him speak and he really does have ideas. I just disagree with a lot of those ideas. Hillary is a joke, plain and simple. She has no public office experience and the two elections she ran for office in were awfully one sided. Rudy would have defeated her in 2000 had he not came down with cancer and she wound up running against my former congressman from Long Island who not many people knew and he jumped in late because of Rudy's cancer. Then in her re-election she ran against a no name mayor from White Plains I believe. She is running on the coat tails of her husband and has no real, concrete experience of her own. Her education ideas landed her 49th in the country when her husband was governor of Arkansas. She would be more polarizing then George W. Bush. Already over 50% of the people said they would ABSOLUTELY NOT vote for her, horrible chances from the outset. And one more, she won the michigan primary by default, her name was the only one of the ballot. And she only won with 54%! That means people physically went to the polls to actually cast a vote for "Nobody" instead of her!
Barack would be someone to reach across the aisle, and plus he complimented Ronald Reagan showing how committed he would be to working with Republicans, even if it caused him grief amongst rivals and Democratic voters.

If given the choice between Obama and Romney, I might actually consider voting for Obama..

In the Democratic debate when Hillary accused him of complimenting Reagan he flat out denied it, so if he did it then he lied on national television. If he's too ashamed to admit it then he's not my type of guy. I hate all of his ideas. All of them. I've done a lot of research on him, heard him speak, signed up for his mailing list, you name it. The more I hear about him the more I don't like him. And now he's become the African American candidate by accusing the Clintons of racism and bringing race into the discussion. Whenever I see somebody do that I lose a lot of respect for them.
As far as Hillary goes, you're essentially voting for two people when you vote for Hillary. You're basically getting Bill and Hillary for the price of one! Which is why she has so many supporters because there's still a lot of people who like Bill. Me personally, I can't stand either one of them. John Edwards and Joe Biden are the only Democrats who I've heard who have good ideas. Biden dropped out a long time ago and Edwards is hanging around to see if he can be attorney general or vice president. I won't vote for a Democrat this time around, I can promise you that.

Edward's is a tool, who tries to use division to win votes... He's a hypocrite who talks about the evil of two America's after getting a 4,000 haircut....

Hillary's campaign brought race into this. The institution of racism in this country brought race into it, did we really think race would not be a part of this campaign? And how mature of the Clintons to harp on his trying cocaine back in the day to try and destroy him today.
I wasn't even saying I agree w/ Obama on things, because I'd be hard pressed to find an issue that I do. But you know what you're getting with him and he'd be willing to work with Republicans. Republicans will not and would not work with a President Hillary, and a President Edwards would not be someone Republicans could work with either. IF a Dem is elected, the best shot Republicans would have at being viable is with a President Obama.

I didn't see anything racist about their comments, but Obama decided he was going to make it into a racial issue. It wasn't an issue until Obama made it into one. Obama doesn't know what he's doing. A respected military general came on Fox News and said Obama knows nothing about foreign policy after his comments about moving the troops from Iraq into northwestern Pakistan. Pakistanis held anti-American rallies after his comments. It was embarassing. Obama is an embarassment. The Democratic party is an embarassment, but at least Hillary knows what she's talking about.
