Does any1 have the words, chords, and copyright info. for this song??? I want to sing it this Saturday @ Church...

PS - if the words are in the CV2 CD, I don't have it right now. I lent it to a friend, and haven't got it back yet. *sigh*

Will this help?

I have no idea how accurate it is, I just Googled "Primal Scream Movin' On Up Chords" and came up with that (Can't just say "Movin' On Up", otherwise you end up with the lyrics for The Jeffersons theme song! :P ). Was going to copy/past as text but it fouled up the formatting, so I just screen capped it for you. :)

Well... dunno about the copyright, but I know the chords - they're quite simple, all based around A. The chords already suggested above are probably true, but it's not the way Third Day does it:

There's a mini-riff at the start pf the song which is 3/4 of the bar A, then the last bit (which is gonna be called the riff): Asus A Asus A. So translating that in; there's 4 bars of the above, the singing starts mid-bar number 5 (so it has the end of the riff at the start):

(end of riff) A (----riff----) A
Well I was blind, now I can see
(end of riff) A (----riff----) A
You made a believer, out of me

^^Thats the pattern for the first two lines of each verse.

E
Well I was blind
D
Now I can see
A
You made a believer
(riff) A
Out of me

And that's the pattern for the second bit of each verse or the prechorus. (*All the chords played on the last word*)

(Chorus)
E
And I'm movin' on up now
D
I'm gettin' out of the darkness
B
My light shines on
D
My light shines on
A
My light shines on

(*All the chords played on the last word*)

(Bridge)
A G
My light shines on
F D
My light shines on
A G
My light shines on
F D
My light shines on

(*The first chord is played on the first word, the second chord played on the last word*)

A
I'm getting out of darkness
G
My light shines on
F
I'm getting out of darkness
D
My light shines on

(*All the chords played on the second word*)

Have fun playing it, whether it's Third Day's way or the other way, at your church.

P.s. The spaces I put in to show exactly when the chords should be played have for some reason not appeared, so I have added notes to say when the chords are to be played
